In the footage, the West Sussex residents have stepped out of their homes to join in with the workout.

All are more than the recommended distance of six feet away from each other – but still taking part in the fitness challenge.

Talia posted the footage on Twitter with the caption: "My mum's made a lockdown fitness class for all of my neighbours.

"All outside on their lawns for 10.30."

People are allowed out of their homes to exercise just once a day for the next three weeks.

It's one of the measures Boris Johnson has brought in to tackle the spread of the deadly virus.

However, anyone who is self-isolating because they have coronavirus symptoms should not leave their home at all.

The prime minister has brought in the new measures for three weeks. They will be reviewed afterwards.

The length of the lockdown will depend on how the UK responds.

If coronavirus cases and deaths drop, the lockdown measures could be lifted when next reviewed.

Today, the death toll has risen to 433 in the UK.

The measures which will change every aspect of Brits' lives include:

  • All gatherings of more than two people in public were forbidden– meaning a ban on all social events, including weddings and baptisms
  • Tens of thousands of non-essential shops were ordered to close
  • Communal play and exercise areas inside parks will also be shut down, but not parks themselves
  • Places of worship such as churches and mosques must also shut, except to host for funerals

Anyone who flouts the new crackdown will face fines of up to £1,000 or even arrest when cops are given emergency powers.

Police now have the power to issue on-the-spot fines of £30 for meeting, with legislation expected to be passed later this week.

Yesterday, Amanda Holden was spotted heading out for a run as she made the most of her daily exercise trip with daughter Lexi, 14, and their dog Rudi.
