TIGER King’s Dillon Passage has revealed he's heart broken after reading a pleading letter from banged up hubbie Joe Exotic.
His imprisoned partner penned a letter claiming that he'll 'be dead' in jail in just a few months.
The TV star wrote in the distressing note, obtained by TMZ, that his ‘soul is dead’ and he ‘struggles everyday’.
He also seemed concerned and unsure whether he was still married to partner Dillon, who he accused of being too busy ‘making money and being famous’.
The Tiger King star wrote: "I struggle every day to hold onto what little hope I can find… I don't even know if I'm married anymore.
"Seems like everyone is too busy making money and being famous, I don't even get a letter from Dillon."
Of his ailments, he said: “As most people know I was born with CVID not COVID-19 and required blood infusions every 4 weeks.
"I have not had one since end of January, I’m losing weight, sores won’t heal, I’ll be dead in 2-3 months.”
He even referred to George Floyd in his bid to gain freedom: “It’s like George Floyd. His message got lost in the riots, my message got abandon [sic] for money and fame.
"Shame on everyone making a buck, and you people that think their cool, famous, remember how that knife went in my back, it will go in yours also.”
“It’s like I have been send to Death Row. They stopped all of my medication except one. This place is hell on earth.”
Husband Dillon took to social media to share the letter – whilst also sharing a picture of himself and his dog.
He wrote: "My heart is breaking after reading Joe’s letter.
"He is living in hell right now and I’m outraged by the way he is being treated. I can’t even begin to imagine how that is breaking his spirit.
"I love Joe and I’m standing by him. The photos that I post on here are a highlight reel of my life…
"What you don’t see are the hours that I’m alone at home, missing my husband and my friend."
He continued: "I’ve been writing letters and it is a shame to hear that he isn’t receiving them…
"I know they limit the amount he can read in a week and I only hope they eventually get to him.
"Joe, I hope that this reaches you too. Know that I love you and I’m fighting for you everyday. #freejoeexotic.’
Joseph “Exotic” Maldonado-Passage, 57, wants to clear his name after being sentenced to 22-years in prison over a plot to kill his rival, Carole Baskin.
Joe Exotic has pleaded for a pardon from President Donald Trump in a handwritten letter he scribed from his Texas jail cell.
In the three-page note, Joe revealed he’s been “abused” by jail guards and wants out.
The Netflix star sent his plea to podcast host, Josh Belcher, who showed off the document on his friend’s behalf.
“I would like to thank everyone in America and around the world for their love and support.
“If the millions of you can see what has been done wrong to me in the name of justice, let's hope President Trump will also make this right and grant me a pardon,” Joe wrote.
"We must take a stand in America that corrupt justice will no longer be tolerated.
“And Nancy Pelosi needs to put up or shut up with her quote: ‘no-one is above the law,’” he said of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The reality star claimed his new legal time has “evidence, text messages from the agents and witnesses phones that two assistant U.S. Attorneys, two FBI agents and a federal wildlife agent all conspired to commit perjury.”
He alleged that “this evidence was prevented from the jury seeing it.”
Joe’s attempt to be exonerated is the first time he has officially commented since his reality show, Tiger King, became a global hit.
He is currently at a prison in Fort Worth, Texas, where he has been incarcerated since March after being sentenced in January 2019.
The Netflix sensation is serving a 22-year jail sentence after being found guilty of paying a hitman to kill animal activist Carole, and for killing tigers to make room for more exotic cats in his former animal park.
He has been accused of injecting his workers with ketamine tranquilisers meant for big cats weighing around 30 stone.
Rick Kirkham, 61, Joe’s former head of TV production, has claimed that when his staff got sick with colds or coughs he would reach for the drugs and “shoot them up”.
Rick said: “I saw Joe giving animal drugs to the humans working there.
“When they’d get a cough or a cold, he’d go grab ketamine, an animal tranquilliser, and shoot them up with that. I realised everyone who worked at the zoo was some kind of misfit.”
