Spoilers: Three shocking deaths to rock the cobbles in one week in Corrie?

We’ve all known that Coronation Street isn’t exactly the safest habitat in the world and three lives are set to be left hanging in the balance in a dramatic week that sees a shooting, a collapse and a horrifying hostage situation.

Will everyone survive – or are three characters about to die in a horrifying chain of events?

At the centre of it all is sinister criminal Scott (Tom Roberts), a figure from Johnny Connor’s (Richard Hawley) past who could threaten to derail everything he has built up after turning over a new leaf.

As Scott prepares for the bistro robbery, Johnny is adamant that he won’t do anything to support it when he realises that Scott is armed with a gun.

The stress mounts on Johnny and it leads to him suffering an MS attack. As he collapses and struggles for life, callous Scott abandons him and also destroys his phone – will Johnny be found in time or will he meet a terrible end?

Things get even worse when Scott bursts into the Bistro to rob Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) and as he holds a gun to Faye Windass (Ellie Leach), a worried Ray starts emptying the safe.

But when a call comes through the police radio, Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) panics for Faye’s safety and enters the scene of the crime. He tackles Scott by hitting him with a chair but when the gun goes off, Craig falls to the ground bleeding, meaning that Scott may have just claimed a second victim.

With Johnny and Craig at death’s door, Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) then finds herself in the firing line. As truths come to light both about Scott’s past crimes and the robbery which saw Craig shot, Jenny prepares to shop him to the police.

But an armed Scott barges into the Rovers backroom and points his gun at Jenny. Is he about to silence her for good?
