Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) has caused quite the stir in Emmerdale since his arrival last year, what with his actions having torn apart Cain and Moira Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley and Natalie J Robb) marriage, but — following his clash with Cain in recent weeks — could he be set to depart the village with his mum Cara (Carryl Thomas) in the coming episodes?
Viewers have seen Nate embark on something of a relationship with Tracy (Amy Walsh) in recent weeks, but it appears as if Cara doesn’t approve, as — in the coming episodes — she makes a dig at the young woman which naturally leaves her upset.
Nate’s none too pleased when he hears of her judgment, and accuses Cara of doing exactly what Cain and his family did to her all those years ago — an accusation which leaves Cara taken aback.
Cara later speaks to Cain about her son’s relationship with Tracy, and Cain reveals that she needs to let Nate make his own decision in regards to his girlfriend, and thus she resolves to build bridges.
As a result, Cara apologises to Tracy — leaving Tracy pleased — but matters are complicated further when she reveals that she’s leaving Emmerdale once more — and asks Nate to accompany her.
