Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) has been struggling to maintain his cool in EastEnders as he balances his workload following his decision to represent Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) — a decision which ultimately cost him his job — but he grows tired of everyone questioning him about the young woman’s case in the coming episodes, but will his temper get the better of him once more?
Gray has been under immense pressure representing Whitney, as he feels like he’s become Walford’s regular go-to solicitor. The stress of such a thing resulted in him losing his job, as he was unable to secure bail for the young woman.
However, he’s become hellbent on proving to his firm that he deserves another shot, and it was this very determination that resulted in him finding the evidence he needed to get Whitney out of prison.
The pressure continues in the coming episodes, as he attempts to prepare ahead of the trial, but Michaela’s (Fiona Allen) prescence in Walford has become a worry that he didn’t need.
As Whitney worries about Leo’s (Tom Wells) mum, Gray becomes tired of everyone badgering him.
In spite of things having only recently been looking up, the solicitor has found himself in a difficult situation once more, as Michaela could sabotage everything.
What’s more, with the pressures of being Walford’s number one solicitor once again weighing on his mind, one can’t help but wonder if he will explode in a fit of rage as everyone questions him?
The facade the abuser wears could well and truly be slipping.
