'RHOC' Alum Vicki Gunvalson Says 'They Forgot About Me' for 'Real Housewives: All-Stars'

Vicki Gunvalson is the OG of all the housewives having been the breakout star of The Real Housewives of Orange County. As the franchise celebrates 15 years, there’s an All-Stars concept confirmed for the Peacock streaming service. Gunvalson recently shared that she was considered for the mashup series. However, when the show filmed this year, she was not announced.

What ‘Real Housewives’ stars are in the mashup series cast?

Fans of The Real Housewives had been asking for a series that would bring stars from different cities together. Their wishes were granted earlier this year when it was confirmed by Peacock they were working on a mashup show. The special that would premiere on the streaming platform from NBCUniversal would see housewives from across the franchise go on a vacation getaway.

Peacock filmed the series earlier this year sending the selected housewives to Turks and Caicos. For the adventure, Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore from The Real Housewives of Atlanta were confirmed to be featured.

From The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice, and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga signed up for the spinoff. Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York were also enlisted in the vacation. From The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards was chosen for this epic event.

Why was Vicki Gunvalson not in the ‘Real Housewives’ mashup series?

Notably absent from the show were housewives from the franchises in Dallas, Potomac, and Salt Lake City. However, it was the absence of an Orange County star that made the biggest noise. The latter was the franchise that started the franchise and not having a representation from that region was strange.

As the cast filmed in the tropical islands, there was also buzz that a surprise housewife would drop in. No one has leaked which star would pop up in the middle of the vacation but names have been thrown around. Gunvalson and her RHOC co-star Tamra Judge, were some of the TV personalities rumored to have been invited.

During a recent interview with S’More Date, the show’s host asked Gunvalson about the mashup show. The insurance maven said she had been invited but when the project was pushed back she never heard back.

“I had a contract… and COVID hit and they stopped the mashup show. It was called mashup,” Gunvalson shared. “Then when it resumed, all of a sudden they forgot about me.”

This goes in line with a previous report where an insider revealed some cast members where asked to take part in this show in late 2019 and early 2020.

What is Vicki Gunvalson up to following her ‘RHOC’ exit?

The Real Housewives mashup show could’ve been Gunvalson’s last appearance as a housewife. Early in 2020, she had announced she was leaving RHOC after 14 years on the show. If the All-Stars show would’ve filmed, Gunvalson would have been part of that cast.

Since leaving the Bravo reality series, Gunvalson has focused on changing things up in her life. She bought a condo in Mexico, where she lives part-time with her boyfriend Steve Lodge. Gunvalson also bought a property in North Carolina last year but has since sold it after her daughter moved out of state to Chicago.

The former RHOC star has also recently sold her iconic Coto de Caza, California home that was featured on the show. Gunvalson has been renovating her new house and concentrated on her insurance business.
