RHOA’s Kandi Burruss slams NeNe Leakes over ‘No. 2’ diss as she celebrates Masked Singer win – The Sun

KANDI Burruss slammed NeNe Leakes’ diss that she was “number two” after the RHOA star won this season of The Masked Singer.

The 52-year-old TV personality has publicly placed her Bravo nemesis in the second spot and implied that she herself is “number one” on the show.

Kandi has made the media rounds since she was crowned the first female champion of The Masked Singer on Wednesday.

As a response to NeNe’s shade, the reality star told ET: “Let me tell you this – and this is just being a little petty – being number two has never looked so good, honey.

“The number two is the new number one, boo,” she said with a laugh.

The Xscape vocalist added: ”You want $1 million or you want two? You want one show or two shows?

“You want number one on The Masked Singer. Well, I don’t know…” she teased of her rival.

Kandi – who performed as The Night Angel on the Fox singing show – stunned fans as this year’s winner.

However, fans were outraged she beat out teen heartthrob Jesse McCartney, 33, for the title.

One person tweeted: "When the trash, pitchy voice Night Angel beats Jesse McCartney #TheMaskedSinger”

Another wrote: "Turtle definitely should’ve won. You can feel Jesse’s voice vibrate in your heart. He deserved a W after his talent being overlooked for so long!!”

A third said: "After this finale, I’m gonna need live voting from here on out. My man, Jesse, was ROBBED.”

Despite the haters, she gushed after her big win: “This feels incredible…I just really appreciate you guys for helping me build my confidence back up.”

The day before The Masked Singer winner was revealed, RHOA fans were treated to a wild part two of their reunion.

In the episode, an outspoken NeNe fought with Kenya Moore, Eva Marcille and Kandi.

Things escalated so quickly that during two of the arguments, the women had to be muted in order for the reunion to continue.

Shortly after the episode, NeNe took to Instagram to explain her actions: "It only felt right to personally remove myself from the reunion!”

She went on that so much happened this season: "(The cookie lady, Mark & Kenya's fake marriage, Dennis accusations, Snake gate and much more).”

However, she argued producers came down hardest on her, muting her and highlighting "things that had happened since the show has wrapped (like my relationship with Wendy [Williams] while in quarantine."

NeNe concluded: "All this and so much more felt like the rules only applied to me and that I was being held to a different standard than others but you continue to be the judge.”

Part three of the RHOA season 12 reunion airs Sunday on Bravo.
