OUR Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has revealed how her husband Clive Owen has changed following the success of the show.
Amanda, 46, and husband Clive, 66, have been married since 2000 and are parents to Raven, 20, Reuben, 17, Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, ten, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmie, five, and Nancy, four.
The couple shot to fame through the Channel 5 show which sees her and her family work the land on their rural farm in Ravenseat, Yorkshire.
However, since the show's success, Amanda revealed her husband has Clive has turned "posh" despite his deep Yorkshire roots.
Amanda made the comments while presenting a cookery segment on ITV's This Morning.
"Last week, me and Violet baked bread and we purposely let some go stale because we’re going to be cooking rhubarb bread and butter pudding," she began.
The farmer then began chopping up some rhubarb, adding sugar and water into her pan, telling viewers she wanted it to cook quickly so that it "keeps its colour and keeps its shape."
"That's the rhubarb poached, next is to make the Creme Anglaise," she continued.
"This, of course, used to be called custard but because Clive’s gone all posh, it’s now Creme Anglaise," she revealed.
After baking her rhubarb bread and butter pudding, Amanda poured the newly named "Creme Anglaise" on top.
The surprising revelation comes shortly after Amanda teamed up with Escape to the Country's Jules Hudson.
The duo joined forces for Channel 5's new series of Summer on the Farm – which aired on our screens last week.
Escape to the Country's Jules, Helen Skelton and brothers Rob and Dave Nicholson presented the show from Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley for five days from June 14.
Throughout the week-long programme, they invited a number of famous faces to join them, including Amanda.
Jules revealed what is was like working with the mum-of-nine during a recent chat with the Daily Express.
He said: "Her passion is just legendary. And I think she would also say we offered her the chance to do some things that she might never have done such as foraging this week, and she's really enjoyed that.”
Jules added that he thinks the shepherdess has become a big hit with fans thanks to her honest and open personality.
He confessed: "I've worked with Amanda many times and she is a force of nature.
“She is the most astonishing individual and the family are an astonishing family."
The telly star added: "She is very honest about the life that she shares, and I think it's a very bold and brave thing to share your life the way that she has.
Our Yorkshire Farm airs on Channel 5 and is available to watch on My5.
