Matt Hancock excluded from Im A Celeb group chat in brutal snub, says Scarlette

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Scarlette Douglas revealed Matt Hancock is not included in the group chat with his fellow campmates.

After leaving the jungle, it's standard procedure that the celebrities create a group chat to stay in touch with each other but it seems the politician will not be involved in future meet ups.

Speaking at the UK premiere of Will Smith’s upcoming film Emancipation on Friday (December 2), the A Place in the Sun presenter explained the Tory MP "might be too busy" to get involved with the chat anyways.

The 35-year-old also said it is up to Mike Tindall to invite him because he is group admin.

She said: "I’m not the admin of that WhatsApp group so if Mike (Tindall) wants to invite him he absolutely can, but it’s not me to put the invitation out so we’ll see what happens.

"He might be busy you never know, he’s doing a lot of stuff, he’s got a lot of press coming up so he might be too busy."

The TV star, who was the second celebrity to leave the jungle, revealed the plans are already in motion for the campmates to reunite.

"We’ve all said when we can, because we’re all over the country, we’ll get together and have a meal for Owen because he loves food," the Channel 4 star added.

“Ultimately we’re all going to try and stay in touch, which is important. We’ve all got our little WhatsApp group and we’re all messaging all the time so hopefully that doesn’t die down."

The 44-year-old caused quite the stir amongst his fellow campmates and the public upon entering the jungle, however seemed to turn it around with the public as he finished in third place.

Despite being met with a frosty response, the dad-of-three shut down "bullying" claims that began circulating while he was in the jungle.

Opening up to Mail+, he said: "I didn’t feel bullied in the jungle. I felt people asked the questions respectfully."

The former Health Secretary added: "They challenged me directly and I respect that. It was a lot more collegiate than it looked on TV."
