Phillip Schofield furiously hit out at EU countries France, Germany and Italy after they followed in the footsteps of smaller European nations and withdrew the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab from their vaccine programme. This Morning’s Dr Ranj Singh shared Phillip’s concerns and pointed out the overwhelming evidence that proves the vaccine is safe.
Phillip vented: “The EMA yesterday insisted blood clots in vaccinated people seems not to be higher than seen in the general population.
“This is the European Medicines Agency here and says it’s benefits outweigh any side effects.
“The World Health Organisation has rejected the concerns, AstraZeneca has said it’s found no increased risk of blood clots in its analysis of 17 million administered doses.”
“How dangerous is all of this knee-jerk?” Phillip asked and Dr Ranj replied: “Everyone’s scratching their heads as to why there’s been such a big reaction.”
