GB News turned awkward on Monday night as chairman Andrew Neil clashed with co-star Dan Wooton over Boris Johnson's decision to delay 'Freedom Day'.
The Prime Minister announced a four-week delay to the easing to lockdown restrictions earlier in the evening to ensure a "very considerable wall of immunity” is built "around the whole of the population".
The end of social distancing rules, which had been slated for June 21, will be delayed to July 19, the PM told a Downing Street briefing.
As Andrew passed over the baton to Dan to present his own three-hour show, the pair got embroiled in a heated clash about Boris' announcement.
Dan argued that he didn't believe the delay would be "just four weeks", while Andrew appeared to support the announcement.
The awkward spat between the two presenters didn't go unnoticed by viewers.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Dan slapped down by Andrew. #GBNews."
Another added: "@afneil segment was excellent and happily took on Dan Wootton's lockdown nonsense."
A third person posted: "Is #GBNews meant to be a news channel? It’s just full of hot air."
It comes just 24 hours after Lord Alan Sugar mocked Dan for his "stupid question" on GB News launch night after he asked if he had ever taken the knee.
The 74-year-old business tycoon was left highly confused on Sunday evening after he was questioned by Dan about taking the knee.
England brought football home earlier in the day, kicking off their Euro 2020 campaign with a 1-0 win against Croatia.
Following their triumph, Lord Sugar appeared on the newly launched GB News to chat about the day's events, but Dan was more interested in his opinion on the somewhat controversial decision for players to take the knee before the game begins.
"Did you watch the game today Lord Sugar?" Dan asked. And what did you think of the players taking the knee?"
The Apprentice boss replied: "Oh, I think it's ridiculous."
"If the players want to take the knee and want to make the statement, let them do it," he insisted.
Dan then wondered aloud: "Have you taken the knee?"
Lord Sugar seemed confused as he asked him to repeat the question, before saying: "Where would I take the knee?!"

"In Sainsbury's?" he mocked as Dan tried to explain his question.
"Well Keir Starmer seems to have done it in an office…"
He was cut off as the business man chimed in: "What a stupid f***ing question.
"I don't play football, why would I take the knee?"
Dan tried to laugh off the humiliation as he added: "Well, people are taking it everywhere.
