Emmerdale confirm Arthur to abuse Archie again as torture plot makes comeback

Emmerdale's Arthur Thomas is about to expose his mean streak yet again in upcoming scenes, as he continues to bully Archie Freckle.

The troubled schoolboy targeted poor little Archie (Kai Assi) at the end of last year, tormenting him behind their parents' backs.

Arthur (Alfie Clarke) appeared to show remorse in recent scenes, telling mum Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) about the abuse.

Laurel has been protecting Arthur's secret for weeks, convinced her son has changed his ways.

However, Emmerdale spoilers have revealed Arthur returns to his cruel old ways next week, lashing out at little Archie.

Laurel encourages Arthur to apologise to the Kings after he falsely accused Jimmy King (Nick Miles) of abusing Archie.

The worried mum is relieved and lets Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) know she's sorry for Arthur's behaviour.

Unfortunately, away from prying eyes, Arthur starts bullying Archie again with more intensity than ever before.

Last night's episode saw dad Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) invite Laurel to move in with him, taking their relationship to the next level.

Laurel kept her concerns to herself, fretting over Arthur's bullying confession.

Letter her son know she planned to keep his behaviour under wraps, she coaxed: "As long as you can promise me you're going to be kind to him in future, I guess there's no point in upsetting everything."

However, if Arthur and Archie are forced to live under the same roof, the bullying could escalate at a terrifying speed.

Will Jai find out the truth before it's too late?

Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
