Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) is excited for the World Cup but his enthusiasm dampens when Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) misses their plans to meet up. A confused Rocky then employs Mitch (Roger Griffiths) to find his missing friend after they haven’t seen him for a week or two. But, after their search, matters escalate when more residents on EastEnders get involved.
Official spoilers for the BBC soap show how after enlisting help from Stacey (Lacey Turner), Mitch and Rocky find Harvery.
However, they are shocked to see their beleaguered friend in the unpleasant surroundings of his dingy flat.
Harvey tries to reassure them that nothing is wrong but tells them he is in touch again with the mysterious Sophia.
He tells his worried friends he is back in love with her after she previously went quiet on him.

Kathy (Gillian Tayforth) is annoyed at Rocky’s mission to get to the bottom of Harvey’s relationship rather than helping her out.
The busy partner of Rocky is busy and lets him know she’d like his help while she’s stretched.
Trying to make amends, her other half decides to take matters into his own hands and contacts Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) and Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell).
He asks a hesitant Bobby if he can deep fry some cupcakes Kathy is struggling to sell.
However, Rocky’s plan backfires and the hapless businessman looks elsewhere to help Kathy.
Bobby also intervenes and tells some home truths about Kathy but inadvertently inspires Rocky to mastermind a new plan.
After their conversation, Rocky then decides to meet Mitch after their concern for Harvey.
Rocky leaves him speechless after admitting a shocking revelation to Mitch.
What could the admission be? How will Mitch react to what Rocky’s said?
Meanwhile Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) decides to get involved in their pursuit of what could be wrong in Harvey’s strange relationship.
The former landlord of the Queen Vic receives some bad news and then overhears a conversation between Rocky.
After butting in Rocky’s conversation about Harvey’s obsession with Sophia, Alfie suggests he could be being led along and being ‘catfished’.
Rocky continues his investigation and confronts Harvey with Alfie’s possible reasoning.
Harvey continues defending the relationship, despite them only ever sending messages to each other.
Finally, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) offers some guidance to Alfie after his bad news.
Will Harvey’s relationship turn out to be a con and is Rocky letting on more than he knows?
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
