Dancing on Ice: Myleene Klass skating through pain barrier

Dancing on Ice: Myleene Klass reveals she shrunk her clothes

The presenter, 42, has torn her meniscus – cartilage – in one knee and has a “dodgy second knee”. On social media, the mum of three said she is wearing knee supports on both legs, even off the ice, to carry on training.

A torn meniscus causes pain, swelling and stiffness and needs ice packs and rest – but Myleene is still rehearsing with pro partner Lukasz Rozycki. Her first screen dance is on Sunday.

An ITV source said she picked up the injury in training and is having physio. They added: “Myleene is determined to carry on and won’t let it ruin
her experience.

“She will be going through the pain barrier and the show means a lot to her and her children so this may not stop her but it certainly won’t help her chances of winning.”
