Corrie viewers gobsmacked at Hopes glam transformation in huge Alina gaffe

Corrie fans were left scooping their jaws off the floor during Monday night's second visit to the cobbles, as Alina Pop revealed Hope Stape's glam transformation.

Alina had given the youngster a makeover, after Hope insisted it was something they did regularly at home – but the stunning Romanian made the mistake of glueing on false eyelashes.

And as a furious Fiz stormed into the flat and found her young daughter covered in makeup, she went on a rant against Alina.

"Are those false eyelashes?" an incredulous Fiz said.

"Like Perrie Edwards!" little Hope chimed, as Alina explained they couldn't take them off because they were individual lashes.

And Tyrone was clearly caught between his ex and a hard place, as he told Fiz: "I'm sorry you're upset."

But Fiz responded: "But you're not sorry your little girl looks like she's stepped off Love Island?"

And fans quickly swarmed to Twitter to share their outrage, as one commented: "Alina glued fake eyelashes on a 10-year-old girl!"

"Alina should have asked about the eyelashes!" another pointed out.

"Fiz just said that Hope looks like she's on Love Island!" someone else giggled.
