Carole Baskin became a household name after the premiere of the Netflix docuseries Tiger King, and now she’s returning to the screens once more, only this time she’ll be investigating her former rival Joe Exotic.
Carole and Joe’s iconic feud has been ongoing since the premiere of the Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.
The owner of Big Cat Rescue, will be taking the lead in her own show called Carole Baskin’s Cage Fight, however don’t let the title mislead you, there will be no fighting of any kind.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 60-year-old animal rights activist will team up with Joe Exotic’s niece Chealsi, who worked at the infamous G.W. Zoo. The show will also aim to show Baskin in a different light and allow her to tell her story.
Carole and her husband Howard are on a mission to take down those whom they believe are causing harm to big cats.
The brand-new series will be filled with drama and plenty of confrontation as they go head to head with shady operators.
Many viewers undoubtedly assumed the Tiger King chapter was closed as series one ended with Joe’s shock arrest and imprisonment for trying to hire someone to kill longtime nemesis Carole.
However Netflix surprised fans and announced season 2 will drop before the end of 2021.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Carole and new husband Howard Baskin had refused to have any involvement with the upcoming episodes, claiming to have been betrayed by directors Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin.
As for Joe, he’s desperately trying all avenues to get an early release from prison after being sentenced to 22 years in 2020 for the plot to kill charge as well as other crimes.
In July, a judge affirmed the 58-year-old’s conviction but ordered him to be resentenced.
Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness is available to watch on Netflix.
