Kate Garraway was stunned to learn that Ben Shephard had once appeared on Friends.
The Good Morning Britain star, 46, beamed as he proudly explained his role as the resurfaced clip was shown.
In the snippet, Ben looked unrecognisable as he wafted his GMB microphone on a 'fake' red carpet in a bid to capture an interview with David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) and Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing).
The blast-from-the-past segment from 2002 showcased a fresh-faced Ben with short spiked hair.
Ben told co-host Kate, Richard Arnold and Charlotte Hawkins that his starring role happened by chance.
He'd appeared on the set to conduct an interview with the Marta Kauffman who was the co-creator of the NBC sitcom.
During the discussion, Marta asked Ben: "Do you want to be an extra on the show?"
Looking like a rabbit caught in the head lights, the Tipping Point star turned over his shoulder to get the 'all clear' from his own team.
Turning back round to face Marta, Ben excitedly accepted her offer of being the press on the red carpet of Matt LeBlanc aka Joey Tribbiani's film premier.
After Ben had received the nod of approval, Kate couldn't resist teasing her on-screen partner.
The former I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star said: "I like the way you glance over your shoulder for verification."
Keeping the momentum after the Friends reunion aired yesterday, Kate and Ben interview Elliot Gould who played Monica and Ross Geller's father on the show.
Still having a poke as Ben's appearance, Kate showcased the clip of Ben on the show asking Elliot if he had "any tips" for her side-kick.
Modest Elliot was kind, explaining he looked as though he'd done "perfectly".
