After Michael Jordan's The Last Dance, ESPN Is Making A Tom Brady Docuseries

Following the huge success of the Michael Jordan documentary miniseries, The Last Dance, sports network ESPN has announced another docuseries centered on a famous athlete.

The network is producing a new show about NFL superstar Tom Brady’s life and career in football. The show is being developed by Brady’s new production company, 199 Productions, in partnership with Religion of Sports and ESPN. The show will premiere in 2021.

Brady’s ascent to NFL superstardom was not always guaranteed. He played college football at Michigan before being chosen as the 199th pick in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He proceeded to set all kinds of records in New England, winning six Super Bowls. He has played every season with the Patriots, but that will change this year (assuming the season goes forward), with Brady taking his talents to Tampa Bay to play for the Buccaneers.

The new ESPN docuseries is called Man in the Arena, which is inspired by the famous Theodore Roosevelt speech. You can check out a teaser trailer below. It’s not the first Tom Brady docuseries, as Facebook produced a show called “Tom vs. Time” in 2018.

In addition to this career in the NFL, Brady is keeping busy with other sports-related engagements. He’s participating in the “Champions for Charity” golf event on May 24 where he’s partnered with iconic golfer Phil Mickelson in a match against another NFL star, Peyton Manning, and golf legend Tiger Woods.
