Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tell team to nix ANY work that pokes fun at the Queen or royal family, insider claims

PRINCE Harry has reportedly banned his and Meghan Markle’s new team for taking on any future projects that “mock” or “make fun of” the Queen or the royal family.

According to the DailyMail, the Duke of Sussex, 35, has told their agent, Nick Collins of The Gersh Agency, that the couple will not do anything that is “detrimental to the Queen.”

Nick worked with Meghan during her days in Hollywood and is handling all film, TV and philanthropic ventures that come their way.

Meghan’s first project after stepping back as senior royals is narrating the new Disney documentary Elephant, which airs tomorrow on Disney+.

It comes after Prince Harry was filmed revealing Meghan’s interest in being involved in a project to Disney chief Bob Iger at last July's London premiere of the Lion King, while the couple were still royals.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex now aim to become financially independent, and experts have predicted they could Meghan alone will easily be earning a quarter of a billion dollars each year for the foreseeable future.

Speaking to MailOnline, Top PR guru Max Markson said: "They can write their own pay cheque because they are Harry and Meghan. The world is literally their oyster".

However, Harry has insisted that the couple will not play off any connection to the royal family, even if the price tag is huge.

Sources said he doesn’t want to spark further “bad blood” by using his royal links for money.

The source said: “Offers have come flooding in to Collins for Harry and Meghan. They are worth tens of millions of dollars and some offers are absolutely in their wheelhouse of charity ideas, however some are straight up advertising and marketing promotions and commercials.

“However, Harry has instructed his and Meghan's team to nix anything that in any way could be negative towards the royals. Essentially anything that is negative to the Queen, Prince Charles, his brother or the throne is off limits.

“It shows that even though he has stepped away from royal life, he does not want to upset his grandmother or father.”

It has been claimed that Nick has received offers from everyone from banks to liquor firms to sporting companies and entertainment firms.

Nick has maintained a friendship with Meghan, after representing her during her time on hit legal TV show Suits, and he also attended their 2018 royal wedding.

The Gersh Agency, where Nick started as an assistant in 2005 and later worked up to a partner in 2015 and Co-Head of Talent three years ago, has worked with the likes of Kristen Stewart, Adam Driver, Tobey Maguire and Jamie Foxx.

It was announced that Harry is working with Oprah Winfrey on a TV documentary, which is said to be scheduled for later this year.

This follows the couple attending an exclusive JPMorgan event in Miami in February, where Harry gave a speech.

We shared how Meghan Markle ‘always wanted full-on Hollywood lifestyle and will be excited to show off Prince Harry’ pal says.

Will Harry Styles Release His Song 'Medicine' or Is He Pranking Us?

Every musician has unreleased songs. Sometimes an artist decides a song isn’t good enough for public consumption or that it just doesn’t fit on an album. Often an unreleased song will get leaked on the internet or used as a bonus track decades after it was recorded. Breaking the mold, Harry Styles is actually going to release one of his unreleased songs as a single – or is he?

The unreleased Harry Styles song fans fawned over

Capital FM reports Styles has an unreleased song which leaked online called “Medicine.” Though Styles didn’t include “Medicine” on either of his solo records, it turned a few heads. This is because of the confession Styles seemed to be making in the lyrics.

On the track, Styles appears to allude to bisexuality. He sings “Tingle running through my bones / The boys and the girls are here / I mess ’round a bit / And I’m okay with it.” Consequently, many fans interpreted the track as confirming the rumors about Styles’ sexuality which had followed him for much of his career. Even Australian pop singer Troye Sivan tweeted his excitement over the song’s lyrics.

However, to fans’ chagrin, Styles decided not to release the song. Did this mean he wasn’t comfortable opening up about his personal life? Perhaps. On the same token, Styles is artistically-minded and there’s always the possibility he didn’t think “Medicine” fit on either of his albums.

That doesn’t mean “Medicine” will never officially see the light of day. Capital FM says Styles posted an image to his Instagram which had the word “Breadicine” photo-shopped onto it. The outlet reports “Breadicine” seems to be a remix of “Medicine.” Styles quickly deleted the photo, which was captioned “1.04.20.”

Is ‘Medicine’ getting released?

Why did Styles change the song’s name to “Breadicine?” Well, there’s always the chance Styles re-wrote “Medicine” to be about bread. It’s more likely that Styles is making a cheeky nod to a recent interview.

Styles went on the Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp to discuss himself. He said he really, really, likes bread. He says he could eat the stuff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The name change could be a cheeky reference to his previous statements on bread or a cheeky April Fools’ Day joke. It’s probably both. After all, he drew attention to April Fools’ Day when he announced “Breadicine” by captioning his Instagram post with the date “1.04.20,” which means “April 1, 2020” in European-style date notation. Styles is known for having a sense of humor and a little April Fools’ joke is probably right up his alley.

Styles’ announcement of “Breadicine” is likely a play on how much fans wanted “Medicine” to get an official release. Maybe Styles will release “Medicine” someday. However, it probably won’t get a bread-themed remix.

The reason Harry and Meghan aren’t fazed by Trump’s security cost claims

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly moved to Los Angeles from Canada in March 2020, a development that inspired a very pointed tweet from President Donald Trump about the cost of their security. “It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection,” he tweeted. “They must pay!”

Although it’s not the most welcoming tweet ever, some might argue Trump raised a fair point. With Meghan and Harry stepping down as members of the royal family on March 31, 2020, as their spokesperson confirmed, the cost of their security must fall to someone, and no political leader is necessarily obligated to shoulder the financial burden.

Had they remained working members of the royal family, the Home Office, part of Her Majesty’s Government, would have covered their security bill, but since the couple has chosen to step down, that’s no longer the United Kingdom’s responsibility, according to the Sovereign Grant Act. And when Meghan and Harry moved to Canada, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police provided protection, a service that ended March 31, according to CBC News.

Despite all the drama surrounding the situation, Harry and Meghan aren’t fazed by Trump’s security cost claims due to a very logical reason.

Did Trump cause drama for nothing?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex probably aren’t bothered by President Donald Trump’s tweet because they have the funds to cover their security costs, and this dough will likely come from their sizable net worths. Meghan Markle, for instance, is reportedly worth $5 million thanks to her acting career and other projects, while Prince Harry supposedly has $25 million in the bank. Not only does the dad benefit from a trust Princess Diana set up, but he also earned money during his time in the army, according to the Daily Mail. The Queen also left an inheritance and some of her jewels to the royal, and it’s rumored Prince Charles will provide the couple “private financial support” for a year, per People

These figures appear to back up a statement from the couple’s rep regarding Trump’s security claim, which makes this whole drama seem very silly. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the U.S. government for security resources,” they told Fox News. “Privately funded security arrangements have been made.”

Your move, Trump.

Reactions to Trump's tweet were mixed

It’s fair to argue Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been plagued by negativity ever since 2016 when they became a couple. President Donald Trump’s recent tweet and the subsequent comments to his claim revealed that, sadly, little has changed.

“The same Meghan [Markle] that said she would leave the US if Trump was elected is the same girl that now wants our President Trump to sign off on making the taxpayers pay for her security bill?” one person tweeted. “Bye girl.” Someone else commented, “Mr. President is right The US should NOT have to pay for these freeloaders. Well done!!”

However, there isn’t any public evidence that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex planned on asking for support. It’s also reasonable to point out the odd timing of Trump’s ire, as one person noted on Twitter, “Trump tweeting about Meghan Markle and her husband like we’re not in a pandemic?? Like what??” Another fan chimed in, “You’re welcome in California.”

The final word on this spat? We don’t think it will be resolved anytime soon.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are too busy for nonsense

Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have money of their own, their cost of living will be very expensive, especially where it concerns private security. It’s possible “day-to-day security for a year could cost $1 million,” including “$570,000 for residential security, $245,000 for a driver, and $150,000 for an advance agent,” per Town & CountryHowever, CBC News estimates the cost of their private security could be anywhere between “$10 to $30 million a year.” Yikes! Of course, those figures are based on speculation.

Security costs aside, it’s clear the couple will be busy with their various projects. Together, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will “launch a non-profit organization for their charitable activities in areas including youth empowerment, mental health, conservation, gender equality, and education,” while “Harry will also continue to oversee the Invictus Games, the Olympics-style competition he founded for wounded troops,” as TIME noted. Markle also has a new job with Disney, working as the narrator for the documentary Elephant.

Translation: It’s an exciting new chapter for Meghan and Harry, and it’s probably safe to say they’re too busy to be fazed by President Donald Trump’s nonsense.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Lifestyle Will Change Now That They Are No Longer Senior Royals

In just three months, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s lives have changed drastically. The couple decided that after braving the British press and public for years, they wanted a more peaceful and private life away from the constant scrutiny. Therefore in January 2020, they announced Megxit, setting the stage to step down as senior working members of the British royal family.

Though the pair finished up their final royal engagements in early March 2020, there have only been whispers about what they will do next. The pair have spoken openly about their desire to become financially independent, and various companies have expressed their interest in working with the Sussexes, but that is going to take some time.

Currently, the duo is in self-quarantine with their young son, Archie Harrison in Los Angeles, California. However, their lifestyle is about to become drastically different.

Prince Charles is supporting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

From sheer star power alone, Prince Harry and Meghan will be able to garner major payments for their various work and projects. However, they do need to be strategic about which projects they want to take on, as to not embarrass the British royal family.

Until they can truly become finically independent, especially considering their massive security bill, Prince Charles has stepped in for financial assistance. “It is agreed that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will continue to require effective security to protect them and their son,” their site read. And following their recent move to California, a spokeswoman for the couple stated, “Privately funded security arrangements have been made.”

“Prince Charles will still continue to offer private financial support to Meghan, Harry, and Archie,” BAZAAR.com’s Royal Editor At Large, Omid Scobie, reported on Twitter. The pair also have a $30 million net worth together, and they reportedly cashed a lucrative $1 million check back in February, for a speech and appearance at a JP Morgan event in Miami.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are interested in an $18 million mansion in Malibu

The Sussexes compound is just temporary. The pair are eyeing a 10-bedroom Malibu mansion as their permanent American residence. The mansion, called Petra Manor is a 12,249-sq ft mansion in Malibu’s Serra Retreat community.

According to estate agent Tracy Tutor, the home is a European-style mansion in a secure gated community with 10 bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It also includes a swimming pool and cabana, jacuzzi, outdoor entertainment spaces, a state-of-the-art kitchen, tennis courts, a wine cellar, a tasting room, a theatre room, and a large dance studio.

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity. We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course, as we continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Until then, please accept our deepest thanks for your continued support.” – The Duke and Duchess of Sussex For more information, please visit sussexroyal.com (link in bio) Image © PA

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will need millions to maintain their lifestyle

From their potential new home, security, and lavish wardrobes, the Sussexes will need millions in order to keep their current lifestyle. It is thought that they will emulate their good friends, former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.

“The Obamas are a great model for how to make money and keep it classy. They could find projects that are moving and sometimes Meghan could be in them. If it’s a documentary, maybe Harry could narrate it,” said veteran Hollywood public relations strategist Howard Bragman.

The duchess has already narrated a film, Disneynature’s Elephant. More projects like this will continue that will certainly put money in their pockets. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will spend the next few months focusing on their family and continuing to do what they can, safely and privately, to support and work with their pre-existing charitable commitments while developing their future nonprofit organization,” the couple’s team said in Monday’s statement.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have Officially Turned Off Their Instagram Comments — Might Not Come Back

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been fighting a fierce battle with the press and the public since the two started dating back in 2016. And now that they’ve left the family, things have not become any easier. This is because critics have taken to the couple’s social media page to bash anything and everything they can. And it’s finally driven the two to turn off their Instagram comments altogether.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had a tough time with the public

Ever since Harry and Meghan started dating, thing haven’tgone as well for the soon-to-be ex royals as they’d hoped. Meghan, primarily, was at the center of a media storm. The press practically refused to writeanything positive about her, which made it very difficult for her to develop arelationship with the public.

In a shocking documentary that was released late last year, Meghan revealed that she’s been struggling greatly with the impact that becoming a royal has had on her quality of life. And finally, in January 2020, Harry and Meghan decided to permanently leave the royal family.

Critics have written unpleasant words about the couple on Instagram

Ever since the couple’s announcement, their Instagram commentssection has taken the brunt of thepublic’s distaste for the couple’s departure. Countless comments havecompared Meghan with Kate Middleton, and nearly all of the top comments ontheir last few photos were seriously harsh.

“You are irrelevant,” one person wrote under the couple’s Mother’s Day post. “Please remove this Instagram and go underground and remain in your privy world,” someone else added. In the couple’s last several posts, nearly every top comment (liked by thousands of people) was bashing the duke and duchess.

The negativity has driven Harry and Meghan to disable their comments section — and shut it down

Harry and Meghan recently posted a photo with a message in their signature blue background. It was a thank you message to their community for the support and commitment to “the good in the world.” But, interestingly, the couple disabled comments under the post.

As we can all feel, the world at this moment seems extraordinarily fragile. Yet we are confident that every human being has the potential and opportunity to make a difference—as seen now across the globe, in our families, our communities and those on the front line—together we can lift each other up to realise the fullness of that promise. What’s most important right now is the health and wellbeing of everyone across the globe and finding solutions for the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic. As we all find the part we are to play in this global shift and changing of habits, we are focusing this new chapter to understand how we can best contribute. While you may not see us here, the work continues. Thank you to this community – for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great! Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another. Harry and Meghan

This doesn’t come as a surprise, since they’ve been berated with negativity in the comments section. But it is shocking, since royals (though they’re technically not as of March 31) are supposed to always be open with the public. However, two people can only endure so much negativity thrown their way, and it might have been time for Harry and Meghan to go even more underground.

The two seemed to hint with the phrase “you may not see us here” that they’ve decided to shut down their page altogether. Time will tell if (or when) the couple re-emerges. For now, though, they probably just need a break.

Harry and Meghan 'did not want to pay tax in two countries'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘left Canada to set up permanent home in Los Angeles because they did not want to pay tax in two countries’

  • Harry and Meghan took private jet to California with Archie before the travel ban
  • Tax from keeping residence in both places was motivating factor, sources say
  • Couple planned to set up in the duchess’s home state where her mother lives

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a last minute dash across the border from Canada to the US to start their new life in Los Angeles because they didn’t want to pay tax in two countries, insiders claimed.

The couple took a private jet to California with their ten-month-old son Archie just before non-essential travel between the two countries was suspended last week because of the coronavirus pandemic.

It has now emerged that tax from earning money and keeping up residence in both places was a motivating factor for the move, The Sun reports.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (pictured earlier this month) made a last minute dash across the border from Canada to the US to start their new life in Los Angeles because they didn’t want to pay tax in two countries, insiders claimed

The couple left behind their borrowed £10million mansion on Canada’s tranquil Vancouver Island (pictured) to join their team of Hollywood agents and publicists, who they have hired to launch their new careers

A source said: ‘They were told getting work visas in Canada would be difficult and because Meghan remains a US citizen, so is taxed on her worldwide income, she would end up paying in the US and Canada.

‘Then the Canadian government made it clear they would not contribute to their security costs so it made much more sense to live in Hollywood and only pay US tax.’

Harry and Meghan have long planned to set up in the duchess’s home state – where her mother Doria lives – but were forced to bring plans forward because of the outbreak.

Prince Harry and Megan Markle have managed to tempt one of Bill and Melinda Gates’ top staffers to lead their new, as yet undefined, charity.

Catherine St-Laurent has been hired as chief of staff and executive director of their nonprofit enterprise.

St-Laurent was the director at Pivotal Ventures, Melinda Gates’ women and families foundation.

St-Laurent was essentially the strategy lead for Gates and involved her supporting campaigns that aimed to help improve the lives of women around the globe including the Family Planning 20-20 plan which looks to ensure contraception and birth control is available to 120 million women around the world, according to Page Six.

Catherine St-Laurent was the director of Pivotal Ventures, a Melinda Gates foundation and is leaving to begin a role as Chief of Staff and Executive Director of a new non-profit enterprise for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

St-Laurent wrote to her friends and colleagues prior to her departure: ‘After nearly 9 years alongside Melinda and the Gates Foundation and Pivotal Ventures teams, I am moving on to begin a new chapter and wanted to make sure to share my contact info so we can stay in touch.

‘Beginning next week I will be acting as Chief of Staff and Executive Director of the new non-profit enterprise for Meghan M and Harry. They are embarking on a new chapter themselves and I am thrilled to be able to play a supporting role in realizing their vision and enabling them to achieve impact on the issues that matter most to them.’

It’s not clear exactly what Harry and Meghan’s new entity is exactly. ‘It’s not a foundation and it’s not likely to be a traditional charity,’ said a source Page Six.

‘Harry and Meghan want to find their own way of giving back and new ways to make change.’

It has been suggested that Harry and Meghan would like to model themselves on Bill and Melinda Gates, pictures, whose charitable foundation has donated tens of billions of dollars

It’s believed St-Laurent, who comes from Montreal got to meet Meghan and Harry through their Canadian connections including the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie.

Harry Styles Tells Fans to Find 'Moments of Happiness' Amid Coronavirus

Speaking from the heart. Harry Styles encouraged fans to keep a positive mindset during the uncertainty of the coronavirus scare.

The “Adore You” singer, 26, dropped some words of wisdom during a FaceTime call with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on Thursday, March 26, and shed some light on how he’s been spending his time in self-quarantine.

“I think we’re kind of adjusting to the new normal,” Styles began. “I think for a lot of people, the reality’s setting in … At first, it’s like, ‘Oh, we’re all in and we get to watch movies and eat burritos,’ and live the kind of meme life. And then you speak to people around the world … it’s really scary.”

The “Two Ghosts” crooner continued, reminding people that while they’re staying home, they don’t have to feel overwhelmed by the negativity and confusion in the news.

“If you’re in your house, you get to remove from it a little bit,” he added. “But you get that humbling moment where you remember this is a very serious thing. It’s important to have conversations with friends, laugh, and have those happy moments right now … that’s the stuff that will get you through everything. It’s a time when everyone is on pause and gets to have a minute to reassess.”

While following the guidelines put in place by health officials and politicians around the world, the former One Direction member is taking some time to appreciate the little things in his life. Styles revealed to Lowe, 46, that his days have been filled with meditation, reading and running to keep his energy up. Though he confirmed the previous day that his upcoming European tour would be postponed, Styles is feeling the creative power of having extended periods of free time.

“I’ve been writing so much,” the ex-boybander admitted. “I think a lot of powerful music is going to come from that because ultimately you have people who have a need to express themselves through music and writing and film and so many different ways, who are now having a lot of extra time with no distractions … It gives you an ability to have almost a bird’s eye view of the world and your life.”

The “Watermelon Sugar” singer isn’t the only artist who’s been feeling inspired during their time at home. On Monday, March 23, Styles’ friend and mentor Stevie Nicks took to Twitter to thank him for his second album, Fine Line.

“Way to go, H,” the 71-year-old Fleetwood Mac singer wrote. “It is your Rumours.”

These are uncertain times. And now, more than ever, we need each other. We need each other for truth, for support, and to feel less alone during a time that can honestly feel quite scary. There are so many around the world who need support right now, who are working tirelessly to respond to this crisis behind the scenes, on the frontline, or at home. Our willingness, as a people, to step up in the face of what we are all experiencing with COVID-19 is awe-inspiring. This moment is as true a testament there is to the human spirit. We often speak of compassion. All of our lives are in some way affected by this, uniting each of us globally. How we approach each other and our communities with empathy and kindness is indisputably important right now. Over the coming weeks, this will be our guiding principle. We will be sharing information and resources to help all of us navigate the uncertainty: from posting accurate information and facts from trusted experts, to learning about measures we can take to keep ourselves and our families healthy, to working with organisations that can support our mental and emotional well-being. In addition, we will focus on the inspiring stories of how so many of you around the world are connecting in ways big and small to lift all of us up. Expecto petrol-num! Harry Potter star Coltrane to auction beloved car

Expecto petrol-num! Harry Potter star Robbie Coltrane puts his beloved vintage 1964 Jaguar Mk2 on sale for £35,000

  • Robbie Coltrane turns 70 soon and feels time is right to part with Jaguar Mk2
  • Actor who played Hagrid in Harry Potter wants £35,000 for car made in 1964
  • Coltrane spent £32,000 on restoration work and vehicle has spotless blue body
  • ‘My friend at Bonhams is handling the sale and I’m excited for auction’, he said

Harry Potter star Robbie Coltrane is selling his beloved Jaguar Mk2 for £35,000 at auction.

Coltrane, who played half-giant Hagrid in the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s books, feels the time is right to part ways with his precious car as he approaches his 70th birthday.

The gleaming vehicle has a blue body with chrome trim, chrome wire wheels and Coltrane recently spend £32,000 on restoration work to the brakes and steering.

Robbie Coltrane’s 1964 Jaguar Mk2 is being put up for sale for £35,000 at auction

The bright red leather interior is set behind a gleaming wooden dashboard

Coltrane played Hagrid in all eight Harry Potter films in what was his best known role

It has been in his possession since 1998 and despite becoming hugely attached, he feels now is the time to give his prized possession a new home and the sale takes place on March 21.

The veteran actor said: ‘Having enjoyed the Jaguar for many years, the time has come to part company with it.

‘My friend at Bonhams is handling the sale and I’m excited for the auction. I think she is the finest MK2 I have ever seen.’

The interior of the Mk2 is just as impressive as the exterior with red leather seats, a wooden dashboard and trays that fold up on the back of the front seats.

There are 40,000 miles on the clock and a spokesperson for Bonhams added: ‘Robbie Coltrane actually bought this manual gearbox model car from us in 1998 and during his 22 years’ ownership it has enjoyed some sensible modifications including upgraded brakes and steering, as well as a five-speed manual gearbox.

‘Marque specialists Vicarage re-built the engine in 2002 following an engine fire while two years ago £32,000-worth of work was carried out.

The engine is a 34.litre twin carb and Coltrane had the car restored to the tune of £32,000
