Announcing your engagement on social media comes with a lot of pressure.
But when you’re sharing it on a shaming group on Facebook, you know what’s coming for you.
When one woman posted a clip of her engagement ring, she essentially invited members to slate the design.
She wrote on the That’s It, I’m Ring Shaming Facebook group: “I don’t know if I should shame the ring or the nails… maybe both.”
In the boomerang clip, the anonymous woman can be seen showing off her sparkling diamond and blue matte nails.
While there’s no clue on whether it’s her engagement ring or not, it still encouraged other members of the shaming group to talk.
Woman’s engagement ring looks like 'something when you pull your knickers down'
Facebook users joke that woman's engagement ring resembles 'purple vagina'
But some people thought that her nails were actually quite nice, but the ring wasn’t.
One said: “I rather like the nails but I hate that cheap looking ring.”
Another commented: “Pretty sure I got the same ring out of a toy dispenser when I was 5…”
A third added: “Nails are cute. Ring is hideous.”
While a fourth commented: “Love the nails but the ring looks like a googly eye.”
And a fifth posted: “Your nails definitely had to cost more than that ring.”
Facebook members left 'vomiting' after woman shares photo of engagement ring
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time a woman posted a photo of their engagement ring and was slammed for their nails.
Previously, when a female shared the all-important engagement snap, she seemed to have forgotten all about the state of her nails.
People were far too busy focusing on her dirty nails, with one writing: “OMG clean your nails. So many germs. I’m gagging.”
Another added: “So… She doesn’t like her fingers?”
