An organised mum-of-two has revealed how using baby oil around the home makes cleaning so much easier.
Chantel Mila, from Melbourne, said there are many ‘hacks’ for baby oil – including buffing and cleaning your fridge, polishing your sink and even untangling jewellery.
‘There are three surprising ways that baby oil will become one of your go-to home cleaning products,’ Chantel posted on Instagram.

1. Use it on your sink
The first way you can use the $5.99 product is to buff and clean your sink.
‘After cleaning your sink, buff in baby oil with a microfibre cloth to keep it shinier and cleaner for longer and repel water marks,’ Chantel said.
She demonstrated exactly how well this trick works with her own sink, which afterwards looked so sparkly it is as if it hasn’t been used.
‘It makes the biggest difference doing this once a week or so,’ Chantel added.

‘Buff baby oil into stainless steel appliances in your kitchen to keep them fingerprint-proof for longer,’ Chantel explained.
Again, the only thing you need other than some baby oil is a gentle microfibre cloth.

3. Use to to untangle jewellery
Finally, you can use the budget product to untangle your jewellery.
All you need to do is add a little of it to your tangled gold or silver chains, and it should make the dreaded chore ‘easier and quicker’.
‘I hate doing this but baby oil makes it so much simpler,’ Chantel said.

Thousands who saw her clip were impressed with the tricks, and while some said they knew about stainless steel, many said they had never heard about how baby oil works wonders with the sink and jewellery.
