The couple weren't exactly a match made in heaven, and the pair called things quits before their commitment ceremony.

After arguing on the show, they eventually parted on good terms and remain friends.

Since then, Melissa has said that she thinks her matching with Dino must have been a “joke” by show producers.

She has also said she wanted to be taken seriously on the show and truly wanted to meet her match.

“It isn't Love Island where you're dating different people, so I did actually think it was more serious with experts matching people together and the huge process of interviews, castings, and questionnaires,” she told Aussie entertainment site Punkee.

“They definitely found me the one… the one person I had nothing in common with,” Mel added.

While she didn’t find love on the show, she did find a huge platform on social media and now has around 137k followers on Instagram.

She now earns a living as an influencer on Instagram where she tells her followers to “Make every hair flick count.”

Here she posts about fashion, events and generally living a very glamorous lifestyle following her time on the show.

She previously tagged cosmetics clinics in some of her Instagram posts, indicating that she may have had Botox and fillers since the show.

However, Melissa has also experienced the dark side of a huge following – the trolls that come with it and has said that she received a “barrage of hate” after the show aired.

“I was diagnosed with about 27 mental illnesses by sites and people on social media,” she has said since appearing on the show.

In December, she received the sad news that her dad has an aggressive form of cancer and is undergoing treatment.

As a result, the bride won’t be appearing in an upcoming reunion special.

For now, Melissa is single.
