11 years ago Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot in a glorious ceremony on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
Millions from around the globe patiently waited to catch a glimpse of the Duchess of Cambridge’s stunning lace gown but many were taken in by the very well-behaved bridesmaids and page boys.
The adorable six included the Queen’s granddaughter Lady Louise Windsor, the son of William and Harry’s childhood nanny, Master Tom Pettifer, the son of William and Kate’s former aide, William Lowther-Pinkerton, Camilla’s granddaughter Eliza Lopes, Princess Margaret’s granddaughter Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones and Prince Harry’s goddaughter Grace Van Custem.
So, as today marks William, 39, and 40 year old Kate’s 11th wedding anniversary, here are where the children from their wedding day are now…
Lady Louise Windsor
The daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex was seven when she was a bridesmaid at the wedding of her first cousin Prince William.
Lady Louise, who is 16th in line to the throne, is now 18 and attends St Mary’s School in Ascot, Berkshire, where she is studying for her A-Levels in English, history, politics and drama.
The Queen’s granddaughter and her late grandfather, Prince Philip, shared a passion for carriage driving and the Duke of Edinburgh often attended equestrian events to watch Lady Louise.
Paying homage to their love of carriage driving, Lady Louise has reportedly inherited his two Fell ponies, Balmoral Nevis and Notlaw Storm, and his dark green four-wheeled carriage.
More recently, Lady Louise attended the funeral of her grandfather and wore an equestrian brooch on her smart black ensemble in a sweet tribute to him.
Lady Louise lives in Bagshot Park, Berkshire, with her parents and younger brother, James Viscount Severn, who is 13th in line to the throne.
Master Tom Pettifer
Tom was eight when he attended the wedding of Prince William and Kate dressed in his adorable red page boy outfit.
The 19 year old is the son of Tiggy Legge-Bourke, the childhood nanny of Princes William and Harry.
His mother Tiggy lives on the Glanusk Park, near Crickhowell in Powys, Wales, and retired from her Royal role in 1999 when she married former British Army officer Charles Pettifer.
Prince Harry is godfather to Tom and the mother and son were pictured at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018.
William was ten at the time of the Royal wedding and is now 20 years old.
He is the son of Prince William and Kate’s former aide, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton. The former SAS Major was appointed in 2005 and resigned as a full time Private Secretary in 2013.
Jamie is married to Susannah Lowther-Pinkerton and the family live in Suffolk with their four children including William.
The 14 year old was just three when she starred as a flower girl in front of millions for the Royal wedding.
Eliza is the child of art curator Laura Rose Lopes who is the daughter of Camilla Parker Bowles and her first husband Andrew Parker Bowles.
Laura and her husband, former Calvin Klein underwear model Harry Lopes, are also parents to 11 year old twin boys, Louis and Gus.
Grace Van Custem
Grace, who was three at the time of the wedding, stole the show when she covered her ears on the balcony of Buckingham Palace as Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a kiss.
The noise of the clapping from thousands who had waited patiently for the sweet moment appeared a little too much for adorable Grace who scowled as the newlyweds sealed their wedding day with a peck.
Now 14, Grace is the daughter of the couple’s friend Hugh Van Custem who is a banker and horse-breeder.
Grace was home-schooled by her mother Rose Astor for three months while the family were in Sri Lanka in 2018. She now attends a private school in Oxfordshire.
Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones
Now 19, Lady Margarita was eight when she attended the Royal wedding and sat next to Pippa Middleton.
The teenager is the youngest daughter of Princess Margaret’s son, David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowden, and Serena Armstrong-Jones, Countess of Snowden.
Margarita attended the Garden House School in Chelsea, London and was also a student at St Mary’s School in Ascot which is also attended by Lady Louise.
The Queen’s great-niece has also dipped into the fashion world and aged 14 attended the Dior Cruise show at Blenheim Palace and modelled in aid of Kids Company in an event organised by Chelsea Ballet Schools.
Margarita appears to be pursuing a creative career path and has a photography Instagram account, which has 1,594 followers, a passion that follows in the footsteps of her late grandfather Tony Armstrong Jones.
She also has a handmade silver jewellery brand named Matita which has garnered 726 followers on Instagram.
