Vicky Pattison has admitted that she “rushed relationships in the past” as she opens up on her “loving and caring” romance with boyfriend Ercan Ramadan.

The former Geordie Shore star, 33, has recently moved into a gorgeous five-bedroom £1.5million “dream” home with her beau after the pair started dating in 2018.

But the brunette beauty revealed exclusively to OK! that she is taking things slow with the former The Only Way Is Essex star as she is “done putting pressure on herself”.

Speaking about how she “would love to have children in the future”, Vicky, who has previously spoken about freezing her eggs, said: “I am 33 now and I am in a loving, caring relationship but that relationship in itself is pretty much in its infancy.

“I have rushed relationships in the past and I just don’t want to do that this time. I am lucky to have found someone super kind and really caring and I love Ercan to bits, I really do.

“We are really excited to have just bought this house and enjoying this stage of our life."

And Vicky, who has partnered with Bodyform and spoken candidly about having her implant removed after 15 years, added: “I think I will always encourage women to know a lot about their bodies and where they stand with their fertility.

"I know it was a real eye-opener when I did that a couple of years ago.”

The 2015 I’m A Celebrity winner, continued: “If [having children] is part of my journey I will be super grateful to be a mother.

“Similarly, if it is not, I am not going to be too hard on myself – I just think I am kind of done with putting pressure on myself to have everything figured out.

“Smashing my career, having a really happy, healthy relationship, being a mother and all the rest of it – I am just done trying to be what I thought I should be and instead I am just going to enjoy who I am and what I have got.”

The reality star, who was previously engaged to businessman John Noble until they split in November 2018, added: “I’ve learned that I really need to slow down and appreciate what I have and just enjoy the here and the now, rather than always rushing to get to the next step.

“Ercan and I are really happy as we are and I don’t want to ruin what we have by putting unnecessary pressure on ourselves.”

Describing their relationship in lockdown, Vicky described how she and Ercan have had their “ups and downs” but are ultimately a “yin and yang”.

She said: “He is a really patient and kind man, probably far more patient than I deserve at times, because that is not a virtue that I possess at all! It is a kind of a yin and a yang.

“I am really pleased I have found him actually. I think it was about time I deserved a good egg.”

Vicky has also garnered 4.7million Instagram followers with her candid period discussion posts, PMS struggles and decision to be “contraception free”.

Speaking about encouraging women to be more open about their bodies, she said: “I think for me it is just super important to be really honest and open about all of these things that we go through as women that for some reason we feel embarrassed and ashamed about.

“I want us as women to be proud of our bodies and to be ‘period proud’ in general. We all go through them and it is a totally natural process.”

The Newcastle-native added: “Things that work for one woman might not work for another and by talking it and putting my journey and feelings out there I encourage more women to share theirs.”

And asked about a future return to reality TV, Vicky, who appeared on MTV’s Geordie Shore between 2011 and 2014, said: “I have a couple of projects in the pipeline and I’m always going to be super passionate about working in TV but I am moving away from reality.”

She ended: “Sometimes it can just be super invasive, and, as you get older, you want a little bit of your life just for yourself.

“I like that people only know about what I choose to share, rather than them seeing every inch of me.”
