The presenter shunned professionals in exchange for true DIY and transformed the space using her own hard graft – and craft.

Stacey has curated the perfect space with her wonderful home finds such as an adorable height chart from Family Rule which cost £145.

The 31 year old did everything herself including sanding the floors down with some tools she hired for £35.

The room features clever storage solutions for all Rex’s toys topped with a drawing roll which is from Ikea and Stacey says she sawed in half to fit the space.

Stacey provided links to everything in the room which totted up to a grand total of £917.

Other cute finds included the panda door handles and the clever interchangeable hexagon-shaped lights by the bed.

Fans feeling inspired can pick up a set of their own on Amazon where they currently cost just under £45. The lights are USB charged and have a battery life of 10,000 hours.

The Loose Women presenter faced a slight set back this week after her children pointed out that her most recent work in Rex’s bedroom didn’t look exactly as planned.

However, with a little patience and creativity, the 31-year-old was able to rectify the situation and update the wall into something wonderful.

In keeping with the animal theme of Rex’s bedroom, Stacey hung three stuffed toy pandas diagonally on the wall above the radiator.

However, the children instantly poked fun at their Mum after coming home to find what they saw as the toy pandas “grabbing each other’s bums”.

However, the Tap to Tidy author has rectified the error and updated the area to something truly adorable.

After taking advice from her followers, Stacey painted a balloon onto the wall alongside the pandas so the arrangement makes more sense.

The finished result was a gorgeous wall mural that we’re sure the boys will love rather than laugh at.
