Roger Mayweather, Floyd’s uncle and legendary boxing trainer, has died aged 58.
Mayweather, a former world champion who retired in 1999 before establishing himself as one of the greatest coaches in the sport’s history, had been suffering from a decline in health for a number of years.
He trained Mayweather Jr between 2000 and 2012, during which time his nephew became recognised as boxing’s best pound-for-pound fighter.
