French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain's upcoming Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund will be played behind closed doors because of coronavirus fears, Paris Police said in a statement on Monday.
The French government announced Sunday night that all gatherings of more than 1,000 people would be banned in light of the spread of coronavirus. The game, which is scheduled to be played in Paris's Parc des Princes stadium, will still be broadcast on television.
In a statement, PSG said it would find a resolution for fans and season ticket holders who've been affected by the decision, saying they are "fully mobilized to organize the match in the best possible conditions."
