Princess Beatrice, 31, will tie the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29. The ceremony will be held at the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace and Bea’s sister Princess Eugenie, 29, is bound to be among the wedding guests. Princess Eugenie pulled out all the stops for her lavish royal wedding to Jack Brooksbank in October 2018 and while Bea’s big day will be more muted it will set a new royal precedent.
Beatrice will become a stepmother to Edoardo’s three-year-old son Christopher on their wedding day.
To show Christopher, who is affectionately known as “Wolfie” how much he means to them both, Bea and Edo have decided to give the youngster the honour of being best man.
Wolfie will be the youngest best man in British royal history when his dad Edoardo and Bea tie the knot in May.
A spokesman for the couple told the Daily Mail: “I can confirm that Wolfie will be best man.”

Wolfie’s mother is Edoardo’s ex Dara Huang who is also expected to be at the wedding.
While The Chapel Royal seats 150 people and is considerably smaller than St George’s Chapel where Eugenie and Meghan Markle had their weddings, Bea’s big day will stand out in its own way.
When Beatrice marries property tycoon Edo, 36, she will inherit a title from his native Italy.
Edoardo is an Italian count and as such Beatrice all automatically become a countess when they marry.
Speaking to the Daily Mail Edo’s father, Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi said: “Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation.
“He is a count, his wife will be a countess automatically and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna.”
The proud dad added Beatrice and Edoardo are “very suited to each other” and “I’ve never seen him so happy.”
An official statement from Buckingham Palace about the wedding read: “The wedding of HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will take place on Friday 29th May 2020.

“The couple became engaged in Italy in September 2019.
“Her Majesty the Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.
“The ceremony will be followed by a private reception, given by the Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.”
The Queen’s offer to host Beatrice’s wedding reception at Buckingham Palace has widely been interpreted as a gesture of support after several difficult months for the York Family.
Prince Andrew stepped down from his official duties last year after an interview he gave about his friendship with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein prompted fierce backlash.
Buckingham Palace is an obvious spot for Beatrice’s reception due to its proximity to St James’s Palace.
The last royal couple to have their wedding reception there were Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge in 2011.
The wedding reception will in Buckingham Palace’s gardens as opposed to inside the palace.
