PAUL POGBA is reportedly is on the verge of committing his future to Manchester United as he believes he can form a deadly duo with Bruno Fernandes.
The France superstar enters the final two years of his contract this summer and was expected to leave amid months of transfer speculation.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have both been linked, with his former club Juventus also keen to bring him back to Italy despite him being restricted to only eight matches through injury this campaign.
However, The Daily Mail claim Pogba “sees his long-term future at United and is happy to stay” and could “even extend” his contract at Old Trafford.
They state the 26-year-old, the Red Devils’ club-record £89million buy, is determined to “prove his true worth” after failing to hit top gear ever since his return to Manchester in 2016.
Having been impressed with January signing Fernandes’ impact, he is now sure that the pair can form a midfield partnership and help spearhead a United resurgence for top honours.
Even though the 2018 World Cup winner has not publicly expressed his desire to leave, his agent Mino Raiola has suggested numerous times his client may prefer to leave.
