Inside Bridgertons Simone Ashleys stylish home she shares with adorable pet dog

Simone Ashley is poised to grace screens in series two of Bridgerton.

The 26-year-old plays Kate Sharma in the much-anticipated second series due to hit Netflix later this week.

As the nation is inevitably gripped once again to all things Bridgerton, viewers are already growing curious to learn more about the lives of the cast away from the cameras.

Thanks to social media, Simone, who also stars in Sex Education, has shared plenty of glimpses of her life, including her stunning home.

The TV star lives in London where she first moved to study acting with her adorable pet dog. Let's take a look…

While the first season of Bridgerton focused on Daphne Bridgerton's (Phoebe Dynevor) romance with the Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), the second instalment focuses on the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony Bridgerton's (Jonathan Bailey) quest to find love.

Simone's character Kate Sharma, features in the show as a love interest for heartthrob Anthony Bridgerton, played by Jonathan Bailey.

It is not known whether the actress is romantically linked to anyone off screen, and there are no hints on her Instagram.

What is for certain is that Simone is an animal lover and lives with her adorable pet dog who regularly features on her social media channels.

The TV star posts regular updates of her pup from inside the home they share in the capital.

Another snap shows a second dog taking a rest in a freestanding bath inside Simone's quirky apartment.

Opening up about her role in Bridgerton in a recent interview with Glamour, she said: "I didn’t really watch period dramas much because I felt like I couldn’t relate to them, maybe because I couldn’t see myself within one."

However, since landing the part, the TV star said she has felt relaxed about her performance.

Simone said: "I'd like to think that I'm not a very fearful person. We're not performing heart surgery or curing diseases, that's real pressure."

The actress was also optimistic for the next step of her career following her success in Bridgerton and other Netflix series Sex Education.

"I'm still very young, But this year onwards, I'd like to keep my foot on the gas. So I always think of it in that way—because it's supposed to be fun, riding the wave," she told the publication.

Bridgerton series two lands on Netflix March 25th.
