Andrea McLean leaves Loose Women viewers in shock by SWEARING live on air: ‘I can’t believe I said that’
Stacey Solomon hilariously forgets how many children she has in Loose Women blunder
The TV personality cried on Monday's show as she said: "It was a really really big decision to jump to see if I fall or if I fly.
"And I just thought, 'I will never know unless I try'. So, I'm saying goodbye to Loose Women."
She continued: "I'm not leaving today, this is just my day to tell you guys."
The ex-SAS Who Dares Wins contestant shared that her home welcomed a new addition at the start of this year, in the form of their foster puppy Teddy, who the family have decided to permanently adopt.
Pictured sitting on her sofa with Teddy snoozing alongside her, Andrea explained that they never planned to replace her last dog Jackson.
"We didn’t expect when we went to pick him up a week ago that he would slot so neatly into our hearts and into our life. It’s like he’s always been here. So when the time came to hand him back, Nick and I looked at each other and l, afraid to say it first… “Shall we keep him?”
"To be honest, I already knew, hence why I’d spent a small fortune on puppy toys, a collar, and had already made a little bed up for him in the office so he could snooze while we work."
Teddy has plenty of space to hunt out his favourite spots, including a spacious kitchen and dining area.
A table of six sits by the back door which opens up out on to a glorious green garden, where Andrea often enjoys a cuppa in the sun during summer.
The host has also boasted that her 'favourite place in the world' is actually their front porch, which has a swinging seat and a large loveseat that she has shared a bottle of Champagne with her hubby in in the past.
Celebrating the release of her book at the start of the year, Andrea wrote: "After a long week, it’s important to STOP, take a moment and celebrate everything I’ve worked so hard for.
"My book has finally been printed and my website is finally up and running. So I’m in my favourite place in the world (my porch) with my favourite guy (my hubby) having my favourite tipple (pink bubbles)."
Andrea's living room is just as cosy with checked and grey sofas filling the space as well as plenty of photos adorning the walls.

One frame takes pride of place, a quote which reads: "Happiness is not a destination, it's a way of life."
Andrea and Nick also have their own home office, where the dog mum plans on making a space for their pet Teddy.
She even posted a snap of herself working out while typing away on her computer, and is surrounded by artwork including the Rankin photoshoot of her alongside the Loose Women cast for their Body Stories campaign.
The mum-of-two also likes to get her children involved at home and has been joined in the kitchen in the past with her daughter Amy.
