I weigh 27st but wont stop posing in my undies – Im sexy and wont hide away

A 27st mum-of-two says you can be sexy at any size.

Sonya McKee, from Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, used to feel self conscious about her figure.

She was bullied at school over her weight, so would bunk off to avoid PE classes and stay at home instead of going to the pub with her peers.

But she has learned to rise above cruel comments she receives – and proudly poses in her undies.

The 42-year-old has garnered more than 38,000 TikTok followers due to her body confident posts.

Despite the trolling she receives, she refuses to cover up her curves and hopes she will inspire others to follow her lead.

Sonya told Fabulous: "I get a lot of positive comments but I'm constantly getting hate too.

"It's all the stereotypical fat-shaming stuff, ‘go get on a treadmill’, ‘you’re going to have a heart attack’, 'get off your bum', 'go do some exercise', ‘you’re eating all the food in the fridge’.

"It doesn’t bother me. I’ve heard it all so many times. When people send me hate, I just wear even less."

Sonya pays no attention to keyboard warriors and regularly parties in crop tops.

While she knows she could be a healthier weight, she refuses to hide away in baggy clothes.

Sonya has two kids called Tanisha, 21, and Akai, seven.

She lives in Ireland with her boyfriend Craig Rodrick, who can't get enough of her curves.

The mum hopes sharing her story, and posting body positive content online, will inspire other plus size women.

Sonya added: "It's hard for bigger ladies to keep going out there and fighting, just to prove we're normal like anybody else, and our size shouldn't matter.

"But the negativity has pushed me to put myself out there more. I've used the hate become stronger and turned it into something positive.

"If it wasn’t for all the hate I’ve had, I wouldn’t be the person I am now."
