Aldi launches its Specialbuys every Thursday and Sunday morning. These products go on sale in Aldi’s middle aisle or are available online only. This weekend, the popular hanging egg chair will be available to buy as part of Aldi’s home and garden Specialbuy products.

Aldi’s hanging egg chair is one of the supermarket’s most popular items as it always sells out quickly whenever it goes on sale.

Earlier this month, up to 35,000 shoppers were stuck in a virtual queue as all of them wanted to get their hands on the egg chair before it sold out.

Soon after that, when the egg chair went on sale again, up to 16,000 customers waited in line for the product.

Aldi’s hanging egg chair will be back in stock this Sunday, April 25, due to popular demand, but customers must again be quick before it disappears.

To save customers having to go to an Aldi store, the egg chair will be available online only.

It is no surprise that the chair is back in stock this weekend as more people are spending time outdoors as the weather turns warmer.

The chair’s return also coincides with the reopening of non-essential shops and pubs in Scotland, as well as the reopening of pubs in Wales, due to take place on Monday, April 26.

Additionally, the chair’s popularity could be due to the fact that both Mrs Hinch and Stacey Solomon are fans, having posted images of similar chairs on their social media accounts.

Aldi’s hanging egg chair is cheaper than most chairs in similar styles, costing only £149.99.

The chair is grey, features a rattan basket, and comes with a grey cushion.

The basket hangs from a chain attached to a metal stand, which makes it perfect for swinging.

Aldi’s Specialbuys usually go on sale at 8am every Sunday morning, but customers have in the past complained that they haven’t been able to get their hands on a chair even after waiting hours in a virtual queue.

Last time the chair was on sale, many people missed out and expressed their frustrations on the Aldi website.

One person wrote: “Waited ages in queue and then out of stock! What’s the point never again am I wasting my time plenty of others selling for 30-40 more better quality might aswell buy off them!”

Another person added: “On the website all night for these invisible egg chairs just a ploy to get you on their website! Disgusting Aldi!”

However, the chair mostly has five-star reviews, with many praising the product. One person said: “Even though it took ages to get on the website to pre order this item, it was well worth the wait. Excellent product, speedy delivery.”

Another person wrote: “Absolutely love this egg chair, I have added some fairy lights and sit in it everyday! Had to get up at 4am to order it but was well worth it.”

If you miss out on the Specialbuy this weekend, there are similar chairs available at other retailers.

Tesco is selling a rattan chair for £150, as well as a rattan garden furniture set for only £250.

Additionally, Argos has a rattan hanging egg chair for £250.
