Aldi now has an eight percent market share of the UK grocery market. It is said to be the UK’s fifth largest grocery retailer and competes with low prices against rival discount store Lidl. The discount supermarket now sells a range of electrical goods including TVs which have now been put on sale for a fraction of the price compared to other retailers.
Aldi has a reputation for being one of the cheapest supermarkets, with weekly offers as part of its Special Buys initiative.
The supermarket releases new products each week, which are previewed on its website and in the store’s leaflet – which is now available online.
The deals include a whole host of products – from electrical appliances to garden furniture, cooking essentials and clothing.
Aldi’s latest deal includes a 50-inch 4K smart TV for just £279.99 and it’s perfect for those wanting a cinema experience at home as many are still spending lots of time indoors.
