adidas Football will be re-releasing the Predator Absolute Gold football boot – an iconic model famously donned by French football legend Zinedine Zidane during the 2006 World Cup.
During this World Cup in Germany, the biggest stars in the game wore the golden Predator boot. And while Zidane didn’t ultimately lead his country to glory — after the French midfielder headbutted Materazzi in the final — his other jaw-dropping individual performances throughout the rest of the competition, along with the images that came with them, will forever be a part of the beautiful game’s heritage.
With that in mind, the sparkling gold Predator boot is now available again and it has come with a fold-over tongue and curved SL rubber elements on what is an exact recreation of the OG upper. In addition to this, adidas has managed to blend the iconic history of the boot with revitalized elements that make it suitable for today’s game — check out the new Predator Edge that brings a modern fit and performance with a rubber strike zone and sole plate for proof of that.
You can have a closer look at adidas Football’s golden Predator boot above and they’re available now on the official adidas website.
