Angel Gomes has spoken to the Manchester United website about how his brother's involvement in the Red Devils' academy helped to spur him on as a kid.
He said: “I still remember watching him play at United with Jesse, Ravel, Tyler Blackett and others. They played in the Nike Cup at Carrington against PSG. I remember standing there and thinking: I want to play here. I want to do this.
So I’d audition for it. Every time I’d go along to watch my brother, I’d bring my ball to play with whilst I was waiting for him. After each session, the coaches would come out at the end when everyone was going home, and they’d be like… “Go on, show us what you’ve got. Show us a bit.”
That was my time to shine. I’d do little things, little skills, and they’d be like… “Hey, he’s alright.”
Eventually, they asked me to play properly, my dad took me over and I stayed from then on with some of the players who are still here now.”

Exclusive: Jack Grealish is set to earn a whopping £150,000-a-week if he completes his sensational switch to Manchester United this summer.
Aston Villa are yet to agree a transfer fee with Old Trafford chiefs but senior officials are working on the personal terms ahead of his move.
United initially expressed an interest in Grealish in January.
But they felt they had more chance of concluding a deal with Sporting Lisbon for Bruno Fernandes – which they did.
The Villa midfielder will move to the red half of Manchester regardless of where Villa finish in the Premier League.
Rivals Manchester City are also interested in Grealish and are monitoring the situation.
Paul Pogba has a “50-50 chance” of returning for Manchester United's derby clash with City next week, according to reports in France.
The French midfielder, 26, has played just twice since September due to a series of frustrating injuries – and is now set to quit the club in the summer.
Both Real Madrid and Juventus are chasing Pogba, with United holding out for around £150million.
But reports in his home country claim Pogba might be ready for action against Manchester City on March 8 as he steps up his recovery.
L'Equipe claim the £89m midfielder has a “50-50 chance” of making it for the crunch derby showdown.
However, the report also states Pogba has more chance of being ready for the monster clash with Tottenham a week later.
I WANT MUR
Former Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli has claimed Man Utd target Vedat Muriqi is good enough to play for any team in England.
Speaking to beIN Sports Turkey, he said: “There were several Premier League sides who wanted tickets to watch Vedat before games.
“I think he could play at any team in England.
“Like Olivier Giroud, he needs to find a manager like Arsene Wenger.”
