MIKEL ARTETA's Arsenal will look to put their Euro disappointment behind them against Portsmouth on Monday night.

The Gunners crashed out of the Europa League on Thursday in a disastrous defeat to the Greeks – and now turn their attention to a tough FA Cup clash against Pompey.

    Their extra-time heartbreak against Olympiacos will cost the club dearly if they cannot secure European football next season.

    Barcelona are reportedly ready to make a summer move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

    Arsenal are keen to keep the Gabon international, but will find it increasingly difficult if they fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.

    Aubameyang has scored 61 times for Arsenal in just 96 appearances.

    While Gary Lineker trolled the Gunners by claiming that Liverpool losing to Watford yesterday was their best result of the season.

    Lineker said on Twitter: “Definitely @Arsenal's best result of the season. invincibles.”

    And in further transfer news, Arsenal are reportedly considering making an offer for non-league striker Tyger Smalls to join their academy.

    The 17-year-old used to be on the books of North London rivals Tottenham.

    Since leaving Spurs the young forward has made a name in non-league football.

    The Gunners are reportedly keen to bring him to the academy at Hale End where Per Mertesacker is now in charge.
