Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon, 31, has addressed an “out of hand” family situation at Pickle Cottage, which she warned will “end in tears” for everyone involved. Taking to social media, the star revealed that she had removed her youngest son Rex, who she shares with fiancé Joe Swash, 39, from the situation, preferring him to sow flower seeds with her rather than take part in a water fight with “the big boys”.
It’s all going to end in tears!
After spending time with her sister and family yesterday, the star told fans that she was going to spend Thursday having “a lazy garden day”.
Following a DIY table hack, the star revealed that her family were enjoying time in the garden.
Posting a clip in the garden of Pickle Cottage, the ITV host said that her fiancé Joe had returned to their Essex home with a bag of water balloons, after previously saying he was going out for milk.
She wrote: “Joe Joe went to the shop for milk and came back with a bag of water balloons”.
The short video showed Rex and Stacey’s oldest son Zachary, 13, standing over a bucket of water balloons near the presenter’s beloved willow tree.
However, Zachary was quickly hit by a water balloon thrown by the star’s fiancé as Rex looked on, unaware of the impending water fight that was about to commence.
After being hit, Zachary leant down to pick up a filled balloon, before lobbing it at Joe who fled the scene off camera.
In the next slide, The Tap to Tidy guru had revealed she had taken her two-year-old away from the water fight which she said will inevitably “end in tears.”
The star wrote: “Me and Rex have left the big boys because the water fight is getting out of hand… it will all 100% end in tears.
“I bought these wildflowers so we are going to throw them down where a table used to be here on this dirt patch and hope for the best”, she added.
The star filmed Rex happily sitting in a patch of mud and banging a trowel and spade together while waiting for his mum to help him sow some wildflower seeds.
Stacey said: “Me and Rex have come to do some gardening because the big boys are going crazy with their water fight
“It’s all going to end in tears!
“There’s a little brown patch of mud here so I thought we could plant some wildflowers”, Stacey said ending the video.
Stacey went on to film Rex’s adorable efforts at first soaking and then planting the seed pods over an area of dry mud.
Days ago the In The Style designer shared her heartache over being forced to leave her home, Pickle Cottage.
Explaining her bittersweet exit on Friday, Stacey wrote in her caption that she can’t be at home for the next couple of days because she will be busy at work filming her new BBC show Sort Your Life Out, which has a hectic schedule.
She penned: “Had to say goodbye to Joe and the boys and Pickle Cottage this morning because it’s the final two days of the third episode of Sort Your Life Out.
“These two days are basically all nighters to finish off properly and get the house completely organised.
“I’m so grateful to be making this show. It’s my absolute dream job. And I cannot believe I get to do it”, Stacey added, before going on to pen a sweet farewell message to her three sons, Zachary, Leighton and Rex.
