The latest development in the ongoing legal battle betweenRebekah Vardyand Coleen Rooney has shown the explosive texts 39 year old Rebekah allegedly sent to her agent.
Coleen first made the claims that Rebekah's account were guilty of leaking stories about her to the press in 2019, something which the mum of five has denied and has since filed a libel lawsuit against Coleen.
As the lawsuit continues, Rebekah’s lawyer Hugh Tomlinson QC has shared a series of WhatsApp messages she sent to her agent Caroline Watt in a bid to "demonstrate beyond doubt that she was not responsible for leaking private information".
He said, as reported by The Sun: "Such messages include Ms Vardy’s shocked reaction when she first discovered that Ms Rooney suspected her of leaking stories."
One message Rebekah wrote to Caroline read: “Someone on her Instagram regularly sells stories on her. Bet it’s their PR again, has to be."
"I really can’t see anyone being that a*sed with selling stories on her,” read another.
Rebekah also alleged wrote a message that said: “That c*** needs to get over herself!"

In response to the messages being shown, Coleen’s lawyer David Sherborne said vital messages are missing from the exchange between the two women.
The alleged missing parts of the conversation cannot be recovered, however, as Caroline is said to have dropped the phone that contained the relevant messages into water last summer.
“Ms Watt claims this potentially critical phone happened to be ‘dropped overboard’ on a boat trip in August 2021, only days after the judge made a specific order that it should be searched for relevant evidence,” Coleen’s lawyer said.
“Coincidentally, around the same time, all media files from Mrs Vardy’s WhatsApp conversation with Ms Watt also bizarrely disappeared while apparently in the process of exporting them to her solicitors.”
Coleen’s legal representation wants to have Caroline called as a witness, but she is reportedly resisting this.
The release of Rebekah’s texts come after she successfully hadpart of Coleen’s case thrown out last summer.
Wayne Rooney’s wife had claimed that her former friend Rebekah showed "publicity seeking behaviour" as she sat behind her in someone else's seat during the 2016 Euro football tournament, but High Court judge Mrs Justice Steyn went on to dismiss this.
The judge said of its dismissal: “The fact that a person seeks media coverage of their own attendance at a football match does not make it more probable that they would disclose private information about another person to the press."
