Neil Young is providing respite for his fans across the world, who have been forced to self-isolate themselves in order to take precautionary measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Because we are all at home and not many are venturing out, we will try to do a stream from my fireplace with my lovely wife filming,” he wrote on his official website on Monday, March 16. “It will be a down-home production, a few songs, a little time together,” he added.
The start date of the live-stream series is yet to be announced.
The 74-year-old Rock icon, who had previously teased a nationwide tour along with Crazy Horse sometime this year, will also be hosting premieres of his archival films for Neil Young Archives subscribers, the first of which, titled “SHUT IT DOWN” premiered on Tuesday, March 17.
