Myleene Klass cuddles son Apollo and gives update after his hospital stay for standard procedure

Myleene Klass has shared an emotional update with fans on social media, after her son Apollo was recently taken to hospital to undergo a "standard procedure".

The 44 year old mum shared a sweet snap of herself cuddling her little one following his stay in hospital on Tuesday, as she confirmed that all was well and he was recovering following his brief stay.

In a video clip of the experience, Myleene showed son Apollo holding her hand as he walked down the corridor on the children’s ward, before being pictured in his hospital gown.

Alongside the video, which was posted on Instagram, the singer wrote: “To the Nurses and Doctors that looked after us today THANK YOU. (A ‘standard procedure’ but still gut wrenching.)

“And to the children and parents that do this daily, my goodness you are heroes.”

Following the procedure, Myleene once again took to social media to say that everything had gone well as she shared an update with concerned fans.

Alongside the photo of the pair cuddling, the star wrote: “Thank you for your lovely messages. Baby boy is on the mend.”

Little Apollo is the youngest of Myleene’s children, with the star having spoken candidly about her experience of pregnancy as part of Baby Loss Awareness month in 2020 and how Apollo was her rainbow baby after suffering four heartbreaking miscarriages.

“I am Mama to 7 babies, Ava, Hero, Apollo my rainbow baby and 4 little stars in the sky. I know after my own MC’s how I scoured the internet for stories similar to mine for peace, reassurance.I hope this helps even one lost soul,” Myleene wrote.

Myleene shared her experience in a heartfelt Instagram post at the time, as she recalled how she lost each of her children in a moving and honest account of a subject which is so often regarded as taboo.

She had lost her first pregnancy while flying back from holiday to undergo a dilation and curettage procedure, after suffering a bleed while abroad.

“The scan was the saddest sight I’ve ever seen in my life. The first and last time I saw my baby. As the doctor pushed the camera on my belly, the familiar black and blue image of my baby sprung onto the screen, then started to sink and slowly floated down, til it just hunched over,” she wrote, looking back on the first miscarriage.

“The second time was worse if that’s possible, I thought I’d had my ‘1 in 4’ experience. This time, the baby had stopped growing at 10wks,completely unrelated to the first MC “so it’s just bad luck”.

“The third,I miscarried at work. The fourth, the loo.”
