Embarrassed Gemma Collins attempted to save face when she covered a split in a dress before accidentally revealing it.

The horrified star, 39, strategically placed her orb-shaped handbag over the rip in her ensemble while she was spotted going about her day-to-day life in London on Thursday.

GC didn't want to look out of place when she was stood outside glamorous department store Liberty which was surrounded by lots of people.

However, on her exit, the former TOWIE star appeared to have completely forgotten about her wardrobe malfunction.

Accidentally the television sensation showed off the split when she bent over to clamber into the back of the taxi.

Later, the bubbly TV face was a stand out star at the Prince's Trust Awards where she nailed her Hollywood-inspired look.

Gemma has been showing off a slimmer frame which she credited SkinnyJabs for after she had been taking the injections to curb her hunger.

It's reported she has lost as much as three stone following the changes to her diet.
