Montana Brown plans move to LA and signs with major talent agency to pursue her acting career

Love Island 2017 star Montana Brown is planning to move to Los Angeles in the US to launch her movie acting career.

After revealing she wanted a career in the TV after leaving the villa more than two years ago, the star has now set her sights on breaking the industry in Hollywood.

A source has exclusively revealed to OK! online that Montana said how she has signed to “a major talent agency in LA” and already has some friends in the industry, including Rebel Wilson’s ex Mickey Gooch.

Montana, 24, made her LA debut as she was photographed on the red carpet of the world premier of the film Phobias, alongside the star of the film Hollywood producer and actor Mickey, 34, and some of the other cast members.

The insider added: “Montana has been friends with Mickey Gooch for some time and he is helping introduce her to casting directors and producers in LA.

“He is a major player in LA and previously dated Hollywood star Rebel Wilson and they are still close friends and he was at Cannes film festival with her last year.”

A newly-single Montana and Mickey were photographed together at the event.

The stunning reality star was wearing a shearling jacket, paired with brown Gucci trousers and Balenciaga trainers, while Mickey sported distressed grey jumper and jeans by New York-based designer Ty Stephano.

Montana and Mickey were seen laughing and joking around with photographers as they walked the red carpet alongside Phobias cast Hana Mae Lee, Alexis Knapp, actor and model Mariano Di Vaio and actress Brooke Chamberlain.

The movie premier took place a the Mammoth Film Festival in California, which starts on 27 February and ends on 2 March at Mammoth Lakes in California.

It comes after Montana, who shared a heartbreaking tribute to Mike Thalassitis on his birthday earlier this year,split from her boyfriend Elliott after two years of dating.

Montana and Elliott had dated for two years. Their relationship became official in February 2018 – just two months after she met the model.

Elliott had supported her through her grief when she lost friend Mike, who took his own life last year.

Speaking about dealing with the loss of Mike last year, she said: “It’s been really difficult to be honest. It’s hard when you’re in the spotlight, because people see you happy on Instagram and they’re like why are you happy, are you not sad about Mike anymore?

“It’s been something that’s been really difficult; I’ve been getting quite a lot of hate about it which has been really, really upsetting."

“I’m looking to get some counselling, I’m on the mend,“ she added.
