Meghan Markle Beams in a Camel Coat and Strappy Stilletos in London

The Duchess of Sussex is back.

Meghan Markle was photographed in London on Thursday, making her first public appearance in the U.K. since she and Prince Harry announced their decision to step away from royal life.

Meghan was spotted outside of the Goring Hotel, looking quite simply radiant as she donned an effortlessly chic camel coat by Alex Eagle, an on-trend leather mini handbag by Loewe, and Aquazzura strappy stilettos for her return across the pond.

A source tells that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were together for a private lunch at the Goring Hotel ahead of their appearance at the 2020 Endeavor Fund Awards this evening. It will be the Sussexes’ first official public appearance together following their decision step back as working senior royals.

Both Harry and Meghan will be completing their remaining round of royal obligations as the month continues. A source previously told that Meghan will have a series of low-profile meetings during her time back in the U.K.

“Meghan will be conducting something private and patronage-related meetings during her time in London,” said the source.
