Martin Roberts, 56, revealed he had been called for his Covid jab as the NHS continue to power on through the demographics to ensure the UK is fully vaccinated this year. While there is still some scepticism amongst the public, Martin filmed his jab and posted it on his social channels to prove there really is nothing to worry about and to encourage others to have it when they’re invited to.
Literally don’t feel a thing!
Taking to Twitter, he captioned the video: “So this is it… after 12 months of wretched COVID I’m getting my jab.
“Thank you to the #NHS team at Shepton Mallet for making it a painless process on every level.”
In the footage, the Homes Under The Hammer star could be seen sat in a treatment room at the hospital, wearing a mask as he was injected by a team member.
“Now is not the time to confess that I hate needles!” he jokingly exclaimed.
The presenter then introduced his doctor Nick, who reassured him the jab wouldn’t hurt at all.
Martin winced as he begged to be told when the needle would be inserted into his arm, and was pleasantly surprised when the Dr revealed it was all over.
Smiling at the camera under his face covering, Martin added: “Literally don’t feel a thing!”
According to the NHS website, vaccinations are now being offered to those who are aged 55 and over, as well as vulnerable groups.
Not so long ago, Martin took to social media to share a worrying scam email his wife Kirsty had received inviting her to have a Covid vaccination.
The property expert urged his followers not to fall victim to the “appalling” hoax, where scammers are pretending to be the NHS offering vaccinations and attempting to obtain patient information and bank details.
Following an abundance of these fake emails, the NHS has also alerted people to be vigilant about the scam email, which includes a link to “register” for the vaccine, but no registration for the real vaccination is required.

The NHS says it would never ask for bank details and the vaccine is free.
Posting the “unscrupulous” email on Twitter and Instagram, Martin vented his anger and disgust at those taking advantage of people during times which are already extremely tough for us all.
He penned: “WARNING!!!! My wife received this very convincing invitation to have a COVID JAB.
“IT IS A HOAX,” he snapped.
“If you hover over the return address you see the true one. How utterly appalling and unscrupulous.”
He concluded his rant with a punishment suggestion: “Theses bast!:%ds need finding and putting in stocks in a public place.”
His urgent warning led fans to quickly rush to the comments section to share his outrage and reveal they too had received the same fake email.
Homes Under The Hammer airs weekdays at 10am on BBC One.
