Louise Redknapp has said she's "absolutely heartbroken" as she revealed her beloved pet dog Blu has died.
Former Eternal star Louise, 47, posted a number of photos of her beloved Shar-Pei pup on her Instagram page on Monday 7 February.
The collection of snaps showed Louise kissing and cuddling the adorable pooch and included many photos from the dog's life from a puppy onwards.
In the caption, Louise revealed: "I am absolutely heartbroken that we had to say goodbye to our little girl Blu early this morning" followed by a broken heart emoji.
She then addressed her pup directly as she wrote to Blu: "I am going to miss you so much my darling girl your escaping through the fence, chasing the squirrels out of the garden, our long walks in the woods watching you run carefree, going upstairs when we say ‘bed time’ and getting on mummy’s bed instead of in your own and most of all your kisses and cuddles every day."
Louise then told her 733,000 followers: "I wanted to share this with you because I know so many of you follow their insta page and loved seeing what Blu and Rudi were up to and loved them as much as we did.
"We’ll miss you so much, sleep tight our gorgeous Bluebells" she wrote alongside a blue heart emoji.
She then ended the caption with: "Love you forever Mummy, Chaz and Beau Beau’s Xxx".
Some of Louise's followers commented to share their messages of condolence as one said: "So sorry to read this, I know how integral a dog is within a family unit. Sleep tight sweet girl".
Another added: "So sorry to hear your sad news. Our fur babies mean the world to us" while a third wrote: "Sending all the love" alongside a red heart emoji.
Louise also owns Shar-Pei pup Rudi. The sad news comes just over a year after Louise announced the death of her furry friend Corky in October 2020.
