Lorraine Kelly, 61, has been appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox recently alongside her daughter Rosie. However, the television presenter has felt compelled to respond after she was asked about where her dog Angus was.
Lorraine took to Twitter early today to address concerns over her beloved dog.
This came as Lorraine shared a video with her, Rosie and her dog Ruby heading to a spa.
A fan called Maggie then sent her a query over where Angus was and why he doesn’t appear on television with her.
They penned: “Why can’t you take Angus to the Spa.
“We never see him on Gogglebox. Poor Angus is he being left out.
“We see other dogs jumping around so please let’s see Angus.”
However, Lorraine was quick to correct them about the real reason he hasn’t been appearing in videos.
She replied: “We have tried Maggie!
“Angus sits by the TV watching us – it’s hilarious.
“He won’t sit on the couch, and he had a boys’ day with his dad which he really enjoyed.”
Lorraine’s beloved border terrier Angus has been a big part of her life since 2017.
The Scottish presenter has often brought him on her daily ITV show as well as posing on magazine covers with him.
Angus is also a regular on Lorraine’s Instagram where fans get to see what the pup has been up to.
This included a recent cute video of him dressed in a Scotland jersey to celebrate the Euros.
Lorraine also shared an update of him struggling in the heat last week.
Alongside a picture of him fast asleep, she penned: “Poor wee Angus gets tired in the heat after playing with his pals.
“He’s been drinking loads of water and indoors now under a fan keeping cool.”
The broadcaster has opened up in the past about how important Angus has been for her mental health.
Speaking to The Sun last year, she said he’d kept her “sane” during lockdown.
Lorraine explained: “He lifts my mood and makes me feel positive.
“He can lift my spirits and we all need that at the moment. The two of us have a real bond.
“Since going into lockdown, Angus has kept me sane.”
