Kelsey Parker says snow days are tough as she shares pain of losing Tom

Kelsey Parker has opened up on her grief at this time of year as she said the snow that has blanketed Britain has been "tough", after losing husband Tom back in March.

Kelsey, who is mum to the late Wanted star's two children Aurelia, three, and two year old Bodhi, took to her Instagram page to post a picture of Tom's memorial bench covered in snow.

"Secondary losses are something I didn’t really understand until I lost Tom," the 32 year old whose Grandad sadly passed away earlier this month candidly said.

"Grief won’t disappear and it will continue. And it’s something that me & the kids will keep living with for the rest of our lives.

She continued: "This week with the snow has been tough.

"Tom loved the snow, he would’ve been getting the kids up early, buying the biggest sledges and finding the best slopes to race down!"

Speaking of their loss, she said: "It’s sad the kids will miss out on doing all these things with their dad, sometimes that's the hardest part. Not what I've lost but what the kids have lost."

Friends and followers took to her page in their droves to send their love and thoughts.

"Bless you Kelsey," former TOWIE star Jess Wright said.

While another follower added: "I know you are a believer in "signs" etc so maybe you could take this as one.. that Tom sent the snow for you, for the kids."

And in response to the comment: "Sending u so much love, i lost my partner at the age of 24 to cancer and I still struggle nearly 15 years on I've been watching ur programme and it breaks my heart as I know the pain ur feeling, you've got this tho," Kelsey replied: "the pain is like no other. thank you so much xx"

Tom sadly lost his life earlier this year at the age of 33 following an 18-month battle with stage 4 glioblastoma.

And Kelsey has opened up on her grief on her ITVBe documentary Life After Tom.

On a recent episode she revealed she struggles to listen to The Wanted's emotional song Gold Forever since his passing.

"It's a really sad song isn't it," she said.

"'Say my name like it's the last time. Live today like it's the last night.' And he opens the song with that.

"I've never ever realised it before, but then once he's died I recognised it. I actually can't believe the pain in the lyrics that Tom sings."
