Her former bandmates may have babies on the brain, but for Jesy Nelson it's all about the music.
Hours after Little Mix's Perrie Edwards announced her baby news on Monday, Jesy, 29, was Instagramming from the studio.
The singer songwriter was seen in the image working away dressed in a black beanie and an acid wash denim jacket with graphic sleeves.
Her music producer Patrick Patrikios, 34, who has previously worked with the girl group on their hit single Touch, quoted the post on Instagram with the caption: “I taught you well @jesynelson” alongside a cry laughing emoji and a chef’s kiss hand emoji.
While Jesy was hard at work on her new music her ex-bandmates Perrie, 27, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, also 29, revel in the baby boom after announcing they are with child just days apart.
But while the congratulations are flooding in, Jesy has left a public response on only one of the girl’s exciting news.
Eagle eyed fans were quick to spot that the Londoner liked Perrie’s pregnancy announcement on Monday morning and sent her love when she commented: “We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!”

The same can’t be said when Leigh-Anne made her own pregnancy announcement just days before with a beautiful photoshoot of the parents-to-be cradling her blooming bump in a green satin number.
Since Jesy left the band in mid-December after it “took a toll on her mental health”, sources close to Jesy say she has halted all direct contact with the popular girl group and hasn’t spoken to them for months.
The hitmaker confirmed the news in a telling interview with Cosmopolitan as she opened up on life since leaving the band after almost 10 years in one of the UK’s biggest girl groups.
In the candid interview, she shared: “Since I’ve left, I feel free.
“I don’t wake up with anxiety, thinking ‘I’ve got to do a music video today, I need to starve myself.’ Or ‘I need to go on an extreme diet so I can look like the other three.’ That was consuming me.
“When I look back [at my time] in the band, I genuinely wasn’t me. I can’t believe how miserable I was.”
The performer made the revelation about her future music career as she shared a string of photos from behind the scenes of her Cosmopolitan interview as fans begged the starlet to give an insight into when they can get their hands on her latest music.
Jesy sent fans crazy after she liked one fan who commented on the glamorous snaps which read: “Like this comment if you’re going to feed us with some new music this summer.”
Jesy is yet to confirm when her music will launch in the UK.
