Jess Wright has confessed to feeling "anxious" as she grows older, telling her podcast listeners that turning 35 has only made it worse, too.

The former TOWIE star was chatting to Peter Andre and her best pals Kelly and Gabby on her podcast series Girls #nofilter when she made the confessions.

Jess, who turned 35 in September, told Peter and her pals: "I have anxiety about growing older."

"There’s a lot of pressure in the 30s, you have to grow up, you have to get married, you have to have kids, your career should be where you want it to be.

"I just turned 35, I feel like I’m midway to 40 now, I’m on the bad side of my 30s now."

The group were chatting about age after Pete said to them that he was nearing 50, to which the girls couldn't quite believe.

Peter, 47, then reassured them that growing older is a good thing.

But Jess, who's set to marry her fiance William Lee Kemp next year, didn't seem too reassured – especially when it comes to her family plans.

"I probably won’t have four children, because I’m 35. I’m getting married next year, well supposed to be, so hopefully after that (we'll start)', she said.

"I always think, when I have a baby I’ll be such a different person. That I’ll think, that was Jess before and this is Jess after."

During the podcast chat, Pete gushed to Jess about her brother Mark Wright, telling her he thinks he looks like a younger version of himself.

Pete told Jess that he believes Mark, 33, has a mindset very similar to his younger self when it comes to training – and looking at their physiques, we can see what he means!

"Jess, tell your bro we need to do a gym session – he can come to my gym, he’d love it," Pete said to her.

"He reminds me of a younger, better looking version of me. I was very obsessed when I was his age with training and things like that. But actually what it does is sets you up for a good stead later on in life. "

Jess then went on to confess to Pete that back in the day, when he was living his best left during the Mysterious Girl era, she had an "obsession" with him.

"The little girl in me is screaming right now," she told him. "I was a huge fan growing up, I had a life-sized poster on my wall amongst 30 others. I watched you at Wembley, you supported Boyzone, and then did you have your own concert there as well? I went to both, I was obsessed."

Talking about those early popstar days brought back some memories for Pete, too.

In particular, he recalled how those early days were his wildest, he said: "I used to party hard back in the day – when people say to me, ‘have you ever done anything dodgy?’ The 90s for me were a blur.

"We used to go and do concerts and we’d finish the gig and then say, ‘we want the hottest club you’ve got’, we’d turn up at the club and we would party all night and then we would get on the tour bus and go to the next destination. The only time we would sleep was on the bus.

"But I completely stopped, one day I decided I didn't want to do this anymore. That happens in your life, for some reason I stopped everything."
